This term, Year 1 have been learning all about Sikhism.
To showcase their learning, they performed a wonderful assembly on Guru Nanak’s birthday.
They spoke clearly, sang with enthusiasm and impressed with their confidence and knowledge. Well done, Year 1!

We had a special visit from poet and author Matt Goodfellow yesterday. Matt describes poetry as ‘rebel writing’.
He inspired the children to write what they want to write using whatever words feel ‘right’ to them.
Thank you for an amazing day, Matt!
