‘Not making compromises’ 😔
So want him to succeed but hate it when he says things like that 😭 #NUFC
Matthias Jaissle on being pragmatic at #nufc “We joined late in the pre season, I would love to improve the squad and the young talents but it needs time, a couple of transfer windows. You need to find a balance, not losing our way, not making compromises on how we want to play but with adjustments to get results straight away” full interview @beINSPORTS_EN
Alex Iwobi is everything #NUFC have struggled against so far this season…
His creative ability is a real worry, especially with how much space we leave in the areas he likes to play in.

Someone get me an ‘I ❤️ Will Osula’ T-shirt ASAP 😭

Bring me this version of Joe Willock RIGHT NOW please and thanks
Absolute monster in transition he was, would he perfect for this system if we can get him playing that way again. #NUFC
🚨 Amar Dedic in the comments of #NUFC’s recent Instagram post about his Bosnia call-up 😭
The ‘big 6’ clubs won’t even leave us alone when we are rubbish man - bloke has been injured for the best part of two season as well
Might as well not bother rebuilding. #NUFC

Yet another normal day in the life of a Newcastle United fan…

Will Jaissle finally play Steur and Nico? 👀
Who knows, but Joelinton’s injury will at least see one change from the disaster against Everton . #NUFC

For everyone wanting us to pursue Fabregas if Jaissle doesn’t work out…
Can you genuinely envision our current squad scoring a goal like this?
His way is also considered “vertical football”, we just don’t have the right profiles to make it work no matter the manager. #NUFC
This quoted post is unavailable.
Sports media is such a difficult industry to get into…
Yet there’s people like this getting paid to talk about #NUFC - all about clicks and views though I suppose
Absolutely shambolic 😭
Interesting that Miley is down not too far from the ‘build up specialists’
Wonder if getting him back in that central area could solve more of our problems that we realise… #NUFC
Obviously #NUFC fans will get all 10 shown…
But can anyone name the number 24 hiding behind Steven Taylor?? 👀
Both goals are proper instinctual centre-forward type goals too
Big part of what #NUFC of missing right now.
Arsenal, Brighton Man United & the Tyne-Wear derby - the four games that follow the international break…
All of a sudden Fulham is simply a MUST win on Saturday or Jaissle could be in serious trouble 😬 #NUFC

Would it be treasonous to suggest taking it if the price was right?
We all love the kid but he can’t stay fit despite how good he may be and at some point that outweighs quality or potential.
I’d be intrigued to hear what people would consider fair price too.
#NUFC
Hands off our own! 🚫
Reports from Simon Phillips at Football365 that Chelsea are compiling weekly scouting reports on Lewis Miley as they look to build their future midfield.
The 20-year-old Geordie already has 89 first-team appearances for Newcastle, scoring 6 goals and grabbing 8 assists while proving his versatility in midfield and at right-back.
The good news? Miley signed a long-term contract running until 2032, meaning Chelsea would have to pay an absolute fortune to even get us to the table. 💰
Safe to say he’s not going anywhere!

The point that is seemingly being missed in all of these conversations is that we really shouldn’t even be 13th
Neither eye test or stats would suggest anything other than a relegation battle.
#NUFC
Jaissle might be refusing to do it, but a Steur & Gonzalez double pivot could go a long way to solving Newcastle United’s problems… #NUFC

His Premier League minutes this season don’t even add to a full game and he was injured for a month
How can you make a real critical judgement when he’s never been given a fair shot in the team & has struggled with injury?
Put him 10 in this system, he’s perfect for it. #NUFC
The heatmap on Jacob Ramsey’s Newcastle career is getting harder and harder to defend, and after an early shower yesterday, the numbers tell a brutal story: he now has as many red cards as he has goals in a Toon shirt this season. 🟥⚽️
When you drop £40 million on a midfielder, you expect a match-winner—or at the very least, someone who takes control when the chips are down. With Bruno Guimarães and Sandro Tonali gone, this was set up on a plate to be Ramsey’s moment. The stage was set for him to step up, grab the midfield by the scruff of the neck, and prove his true worth to this football club. Instead, all we’re getting is a bit part player who looks neat and tidy, and that’s where the compliment ends.
He isn't scoring goals, he isn't unlocking defences, he can't tackle, he isn't a holding midfielder, and he offers virtually zero presence in the middle of the park. 📉🗣️
Let’s be crystal clear: Ramsey is far from Newcastle’s only issue right now. The squad has problems right across the pitch and off it! But when you spend big money during a period where we desperately lack dynamism and presence in midfield, it has to be called out. Right now, it feels like we’ve been well and truly fleeced, again! 💷❌
And this brings us right back to the root cause. Ever since Dan Ashworth walked out the door to do some gardening, our recruitment strategy has fallen off a cliff. From the likes of Gordon, Isak, Trippier, Bruno to Cordero, Osula, Fitzgerald to Wissa, Ramsey, Elanga, Woltemade to Jaouen, Bamba and Pardo. The talent identification went from elite to utterly abysmal through Paul Mitchell's tenure, and that poor track record is continuing right into the Ross Wilson era via the window where we had nobody in charge. We simply aren't making smart, calculated joined up decisions in the transfer market anymore for the here and NOW! Either in terms of immediate quality or resale values we are failing.
Look at what clubs like Bournemouth, Brentford and Brighton are doing with clever, data-driven recruitment. Look at Aston Villa—forced to sell key assets to navigate FFP, yet continuously reinventing their squad with quality replacements. There is no excuse. The recruitment at St. James' Park simply hasn't been good enough, and until that changes, we're going to keep running into the exact same walls. 🤦♂️🚨
Sound off with your thoughts below and let me know how the hell do we find a way to see a half decent player in Ramsey! 👇

Already a tough time and we now seemingly have players willingly giving up inside info to journos…
Exactly what we need that. #NUFC
