Iran parliament speaker just posted this. Basically he is saying, “INTEREST RATE HIKES CANNOT REOPEN THE STRAIT OF HORMUZ." Thus, expect more rising prices/inflation in oil and the delivery of goods and services as most everything revolves around energy.

It’s noise. Jobs/unemployment are good, oil that goes through Hormuz only counts for 5% of total supply. Saudis are sending the oil through pipelines now. It’s all part of the wall of worry.
