Taxi-Driver FAZAL-KARIM, 51, has been charged following a hit-and-run in Cleethorpes which saw an 18-year-old lad rushed to hospital with serious injuries
Emergency services were called to Grimsby Road at around 5.30am on Sunday, following reports of a collision between a cyclist and a taxi
The driver failed to stop but has since been located and charged
Faisal Fazal-Karim, 51, has been charged with driving a vehicle involved in a road traffic collision and failing to report it.
He has been released on conditional bail and is due to appear at Grimsby Magistrates Court on 9th December 2026
The cyclist, an 18-year-old man, was taken to hospital with serious injuries 🙏🏻
They're not thought to be life-threatening

British Transport Police are seeking a man in connection with an alleged sexual assault on a woman travelling by train from Birmingham to Derby.
The incident took place on the morning of 21st September, shortly after 9am. According to investigators, a man sat beside the woman, made repeated comments about her appearance, and then allegedly assaulted her before leaving the train at Derby station.
Officers have issued a CCTV image of a man they wish to question, describing him as potentially able to assist with the inquiry. Anyone who recognises him is urged to contact British Transport Police by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 76 of 22 September.
Information can also be passed anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
