If Meta keep Muse free, supported with ads, they could take a huge chunk of the general consumer market. None of my non-tech friends want to pay for an AI subscription. We’ve seen time and time again, the average user is willing to give their data away for a free service. Meta ads work. They’ll work even better inside AI tools meta owns, they’ll be able to gather even more information on their users. Businesses pay for Claude and chatgpt. Meta offers the free ad supported assistants.
