The Yankees slump in the summer like usual and bury themselves to 7.0 games back of Baltimore
The Yankees end the season with a 32-9 stretch but the Orioles go 33-8 so the Yankees actually lose ground
The Yankees beat a random AL central team in the wild card since Yankees/Red Sox three years in a row would be crazy
The Yankees and Orioles meet in the ALDS where they lose in four games
