Did you ever watch the women on Living Single make fun of each other??? Regine is normally dressed fashionable in a traditional sense, so of course they mocked her dashiki. They would’ve mocked her if she’d walked in wearing a kimono too.
We are #ADOS. We roast each other over everything. That ugly tie dyed dashiki got what it deserved.
And “division” wasn’t pushed by the CIA or any else. The white media constantly fed us Pan Africanism. The Color Purple, Coming to America, Black Panther, Roots—where we were spoon fed the lie that Europeans captured African slaves with nets. Kwanzaa was started by an actual Fed.
All of that was used to neuter our politics and replace political action with an imaginary African homeland.
African identification was repeatedly celebrated and promoted in ADOS cultural life. We were hardly deprived of messages about diaspora unity.
If you ask me, Pan Africanism is likely a CIA funded operation. It gutted our politics & left us psychologically confused.

I’m blown away at how late people are in understanding who Jay Z is, the role he plays & whose interests he represents. It’s maddening, honestly

People will honestly work to destroy your reputation just so they can steal your work, because destroying Black celebrity worship is what Antonio & I have been doing for a decade.
FD Signifier explains that the point of his video is to cut down on celebrity worship, especially among Black people.
He points to Black celebrities people love without paying attention to their politics.
According to him , It hurts to see where Jasmine Crockett is right now. It hurts to see Jay-Z's views on capitalism. And it hurts to see what Kanye West has become.
His argument is that you can criticize them and still love their art.
Killer Mike, who dissed him in a freestyle, is his example.
He said , people are shocked to learn Mike is still one of his favorite rappers, and part of why he made the video was to reconnect with the music he loved so much.
He even admits he almost feels bad. In the last few months Mike has been doing interviews with prominent Democrats, which FD jokes is his "my bad" moment for Stacey Abrams.
He does credits that shift to people kicking Mike's back, and he gives Mike props for being willing to change.
According to him , Mike putting himself in a position to be criticized shows he isn't too far gone. Many of the Black leaders in that "misleadership" role refuse to be held accountable at all.
He respects Mike for that, and hopes the guy who once said "I'm going to burn this motherf***er down" is still in there.

Having the police called on you at the age of 3 for being a great soccer player is outrageous.
Follow this child.
He has to be destined for greatness.

Makes speeches for 500k a pop. Hasn’t eaten dinner that costs less than $250 in years. Has never been in a Cheesecake Factory. Undefeated at condescending to regular folks. Will always be known for a presidency that ushered in the Trump era to begin with.

1/ We always get caught in these traps
One recurring problem in ADOS politics is the belief that somebody’s personal vision of uplift can substitute for collective political power. A charismatic personality arrives with a plan, a brand, a business model or a philosophy. But where is the institutional change?

I heard him say every Black person should give $5 to an HBCU and almost fell into a depression, because it’s obvious he’s just winging it. This is a recipe for us remaining STUCK debating one wild hot take after another.
Meanwhile ADOSAF already has an education agenda—as part of our black agenda—which includes HBCUs, but these people don’t want organized political action. They want content. It’s maddening.

This idiot doesn’t understand that what he’s describing is exactly what’s happening with the ADOS movement. And he’s one of the main spreaders of misinformation as it relates to our movement.
So he’s getting in the way of the grassroots leadership he claims he wants to see. Moron. It doesn’t get any stupider than this guy…

What did I tell you?
All of these celebrities are evil & broken. They should never be taken seriously.
In the 2024 election cycle, this illiterate comic was giving out political advice. It’s insane.
D.L. Hughley casually admits he couldn’t read for years and felt “stupid,” then drops that Chris Rock once called him a “dumb nigga” to his face and claimed he only had his show because of him
“That I couldn’t read… I just used to feel stupid… But I used to feel small. It made me feel small. That’s the worst feeling to me. When somebody makes me feel small.”
“The only person that ever called me nigga that hurt my feelings was Chris Rock… He was the producer on my show. And I called him… He said, me and Ken and I are the only black people that ever got Emmys. And if it wasn’t for me, you wouldn’t have this show, you dumb nigga. And I said, next time I see you, I’m beat the shit out of you.”
“That’s the only person ever said to me that made me feel small… When somebody makes me feel, or tries to make me feel small, I’ll do anything to stop that from happening.”
“I went to go see my mother… and my mother has dementia… and I think dementia is a great thing for people who’ve done a lot of evil shit… She said… people always thought you were dumb, but I knew you weren’t… and it was the first time I ever left her home and didn’t feel small.”
