Add Kelli Paddon in Chilliwack-Cultus Lake to the list of NDP candidates who lost in 2024 but are looking to make a comeback. Incumbent is A'a:liya Warbus who won the seat for the BC Conservatives with 54.5% of the vote to Paddon's 45.5%.

NEW - @JohnRustad4BC will not run for re-election for the @Conservative_BC after all. The party saying that every other sitting member of caucus right now will be a candidate in the election campaign, however.

Former journalist, Richard Zussman, is running for the NDP in Saanich South, in place of Lana Popham, who isn’t running again. #bcpoli

Andrew Weaver, former BC Green party leader, is running for CentreBC in Oak Bay-Gordon Head. Asked about whether CentreBC will split the vote, he says when other parties raise those fears “that tells me they have nothing to offer.” He’s hoping for a minority govt. #bcpoli
