I understand the terminology perfectly, but the terminology around gender is employed like Newspeak to obfuscate facts.
The patronising woman who is the editor of @bbcwomanshour on @bbcradio4 just now saying that listeners 'over 60' do not understand 'terminology' around sex and gender…
One of the problems the bbc has in general is it doesn't respect its (current) audiences.
