In 2010, billionaires spent $32 million to influence the mid-term elections.
Today, 170 billionaire families have spent a record $1.7 billion on the 2026 midterms. Insane.
Democracy must be 1 person, 1 vote — not billionaires buying elections.
We must end Citizens United-NOW.

Senate confirmation votes for high-level cabinet positions should not be along partisan lines & should require supermajority in the Senate.
History won't forget the damage people like Bill Cassidy & Mitch McConnell have done to our republic. We must never forget, or forgive.

Striking statement from renewable energy group Invest in Tomorrow Coalition that invested to toppled Rep. Andy Ogles (R-TN) in TN primary
"Tennessee's 5th District just proved once again that standing in the way of America's energy future comes with a hefty political price. This is our second upset in as many primaries — first Chip Roy, now Andy Ogles – and we will continue to punish members of either party who want to play politics with American jobs, energy security, and utility prices. The entire map is in play and we will take this fight across the country through November.”

The chart tells the story: Recent economic history is weaker than we thought, and July's new number is downright concerning.

ALT Bar chart titled "Today's new jobs data really change the view of recent history. We're barely creating any jobs." showing monthly growth in nonfarm payrolls. Total nonfarm employment fell by 23,000 jobs in July 2026, the first decline since February and a sharp reversal from earlier estimates showing a 57,000 gain. The labor market has weakened significantly, with June's figures also revised sharply downward from 129,000 to just 20,000 jobs added, revealing the recent job growth has been far weaker than initially reported.
