Had a talk with my G Victor from @ughhblog I truly appreciate him giving me my flowers and acknowledging the work.
I know what @LesaJ_ & I put in. I know some artists take the work we’ve done for granted, but I don’t think they realize how many doors we’ve opened or how many highways we’ve built.
I’ve never been a gatekeeper. I’ve always believed in building gated communities, or better yet, a village where everybody can grow.
I know the method behind my madness hasn’t always been understood, but the results have always been glorious and on a major level.
We know the work. We know the impact. And I’m grateful when people recognize it while we’re still building. 💙

Yesterday, my homie told me my granny’s house was a safe house on the block. I never realized that. She’d feed you, buy you shoes, and make sure you were good. Everybody respected Granny, even if they thought she was scary.
