Any chance of an appeal for the red? Not saying it should be overturned but he’s already missed an entire game. To miss what is effectively FOUR games for a mistimed tackle is an insanely harsh punishment. Don’t get me wrong, I still think it’s a red (based on the laws of the game and how it’s refereed nowadays), but it’s not endangered Van De Ven, and there’s not anywhere near as much contact as the referee suggested. #cpfc

🚨 Who won the Brennan Johnson and Dwight McNeil swap deal? - Brennan Johnson left Crystal Palace for Everton with Dwight McNeil moving the other way - McNeil had been heavily linked with Palace back in the January window before the deal collapsed - Palace are judged the happier of the two clubs in the analysis - McNeil created more chances per 90 last season - He also bettered Johnson for open-play passes and accuracy - Johnson ranked higher for crosses per 90 and cross accuracy - McNeil outperformed him for completed take-ons and take-on success rate - Johnson offered more penalty-box threat with 3.1 touches in the opposition box per 90 to 1.8 - McNeil failed to score a single Premier League goal last season - The Englishman bettered Johnson for tackles, interceptions and ball recoveries
