What you mean by misogyny is normal white men and boys questioning the stupidities and excesses of feminism. Meanwhile you import hundreds of thousands of actual misogynists every year from violently incompatible and backward cultures.

Dolly Parton’s “9 to 5” is on the radio a lot right now, a hit song from 1980 when feminists, having demanded the right to enter the male workplace, then proceeded to whine about having to endure the easiest working conditions in human history.

There is a 500 word short story from @NobleRed9 in @PassagePress “After the War: Stories From the Next Regime” that is comically relevant to this Cornell rape case. I think they ought to share it publically, because it is so timely

Periodic scroll through Facebook, I’m presented with three different legacy newspapers headlining the suicide of the ‘Putney Pusher’ suspect. They seem excited that a white man may have been responsible for a random/senseless violent crime in London.

Dipping into The Martian Chronicles by Ray Bradbury. Published in 1950, it predicted that by 2005 Earth would have a population of two billion. [Actual global population in 2005 was 6.5 billion, and today it’s 8.3 billion]

I don’t think the word “Professor” is ever going to recover from this. It used to mean “Isaac Newton-level intelligence”. It now means “lying unqualified diversity hire fantasist”.

Insane that his supporters are still insisting on calling him “Professor Jason Arday”, like if they repeat it enough times it’ll make it true.

My normie friends on Facebook are posting memes supporting Jason Arday. These are people who work in education, who went to Oxbridge when you still had to be clever to get in. And yet they unhesitatingly burn the ladder for their own children.

I saw my first @RestoreBritain car bumper sticker today. That was a pleasant surprise!

Most celebrities have nothing to say, and they don’t say it very well.

I say this because I keep seeing podcast clips of British female celebrities and they are all so angry, bitter, dull and self-obsessed. The only one who has any character is Emilia Clarke, who tells a jaw-dropping tale about suffering serious brain injury.

Otherwise it just feels like an endlessly repeating cycle of “Everything I’ve ever said has been a lie. But I’m totally telling you the truth now.”

Whenever I see these spindly, misshapen third world scarecrows employed as ‘security’ at football matches and other mass public events, I wonder what the hell they’re doing here and what possible use would they be in a genuine emergency situation.

Echo and the Bunnymen were a major cult band from 1979-87. New song ‘Brussels is Haunted’ is a return to their trademark majesty and melancholy, with lyrics that touchingly mix the personal and historical. Goes to show you can never write these people off.

I keep seeing Petula Clark trending. Most people know her for one classic 1960s song ‘Downtown’. But what I find fascinating is that she was a child star in England during World War II so she is arguably the living person who has been famous for the longest?

In some ways Petula Clark was/is the quintessential modern woman: casually transatlantic but also very European, with her French language albums etc. A bit of a shape-shifter too, and still young-looking enough to play Maria Von Trapp at 49. Possible vampire?

Revisiting my epic-length thread on my epic-length reading of Bret Easton Ellis’s epic-length novel The Shards.
Started reading an excerpt from the new Bret Easton Ellis novel. Immediately got inspired. Stopped reading. Started writing. The first page of my new novel. Thanks, Bret.
