Imagine it’s the OPENING CEREMONY for the 2024 @Olympics and THIS just arrives through the mail. Despite not being able to win a college basketball championship, never being able to represent neither of my nation(s) or the state I play in for @SpecialOlympics, this was a gold
medal moment in and of itself. This post was 2+ years overdue, but here we are! Even after numerous close calls that could’ve costed me this achievement due to the people in charge of my degree plan who didn’t see my value! At least I got my basketball career and most of my life
They may be provided an opportunity to play, but the disrespect they continue to face at the hands of hypocrites like you is the reason they refuse to stand.
It’s no lie that the WNBA & many of its teams & players don’t properly respect the United States of America.
The Dream & Valkyries refusing to stand on the court for the anthem for 1 min to show respect for the country who provides them the opportunity to play a kids game for a living, is disgusting.
