Good morning, Web3! βοΈ
For this Sunday, a fantastic piece from a collection thatβs very special to me: Stride by @mutlimutli
Still one of my favorite generative art collections. Iβve been holding several pieces for years, and I even had a few printed β theyβve been hanging in my living room ever since.
Some NFTs you simply buy.
And then thereβs art you genuinely enjoy owning and looking at.
For me, Stride is exactly that.
Have a great Sunday, everyone! βοΈ

TIME TO TALK ABOUT HOW ALPHABOT IS MISLEADING PROJECTS β οΈ
Right now, AlphaBot raffle entry numbers can create the illusion that hundreds or even thousands of people have completed the requirements set by a project.
But an entry does NOT equal a completed task.
If a raffle shows 1,000 entries while follows, likes, reposts and other requirements are not actually being enforced, then those 1,000 entries give the project a false picture of the engagement it received.
The problems are connected to the X API and its costs. Meanwhile, Team subscriptions still cost around $70/month.
If a raffle platform charges money for a service where one of the most fundamental functions is verifying required tasks, then it is reasonable to expect that:
a follow actually means a follow,
a like actually means a like,
and a repost actually means a repost.
We donβt need pretty numbers on a dashboard.
We need real people and real completed actions.
This hurts:
β’ Projects, because they donβt receive the engagement they expected in exchange for their WL spots
β’ Communities and CMs, because they risk losing the trust of their partners
β’ Honest participants who actually complete the required tasks
β’ And ultimately, the credibility of the entire NFT collaboration ecosystem
If youβre launching a project, donβt let the entry count impress you.
Donβt ask your CM:
βHow many entries did we get?β
Ask:
βHow many people actually completed the requirements?β
And if youβre a CM, put your ego aside.
Donβt try to impress projects by saying:
βLook, I brought you 1,000+ entries!β
Not if only a fraction of those people actually followed, liked or reposted.
Show them 100 real participants who actually completed the requirements instead.
100 real followers are worth a hundred times more to a project than 1,000 empty entries.
A smaller number is not a failure.
A smaller but REAL number has value.
And most importantly, nobody is being misled.
If you need a raffle platform, look for alternatives where the focus is on actually enforcing the requirements.
Use Vortex @MonkeVortex or Tessera @tesserafi
In my view, AlphaBotβs current system misleads projects, makes raffle entry numbers meaningless, while continuing to charge for the service.
1,000 ENTRIES MEAN NOTHING IF THE PROJECT DOESNβT GET WHAT IT GAVE ITS WL SPOTS FOR.
They don't blink. Neither do I. #NEONFACE by NEONFACES neonfaces.xyz/#cam
