*** OUTAGE UPDATE - 6:30 A.M. *** We are working to restore power in 6 outage cases affecting 12 members, mostly in the Matthews Corner and Wall Hill areas of Marshall County.

*** OUTAGE UPDATE - 12:00 A.M. *** Crews are working to restore 17 outage cases affecting 143 members. They will work into the early hours, with fresh crew members reporting at 2:00 A.M. if needed. This will be our final update until daybreak, unless other problems arise.

*** OUTAGE UPDATE - 10:45 P.M. *** We are down to 23 outage cases affecting 275 members. Our original crews are still in the field working to restore. Please note that the outage map numbers do not reflect cases involving less than 3 meters.

*** OUTAGE UPDATE - 6:30 P.M. *** We currently have 43 separate outage cases affecting 3,007 meters, all scattered across DeSoto & Marshall Counties. There are reports of downed trees & limbs, so tree crews have been called in.

This evening's strong storm has not yet left the Northcentral service area. There are reports of approximately 20 different outage cases scattered across DeSoto and Marshall Counties. We are assessing all outage cases, and additional personnel are being called in.

*** OUTAGE UPDATE - 8:00 A.M. *** All members affected by the broken pole along Old Goodman are restored. Underground crews are working to replace a failed transformer causing the outage to 31 members in Morgan Manor. Other crews are assigned to remaining scattered outages.

10 outage cases remain affecting 34 members. We will make a planned outage to replace a broken pole along Old Goodman Rd in Olive Branch at 12:30 A.M. This will affect roughly 400 members in the area for several hours, but this work is necessary to restore power safely.

Most of our outages are a result of lightning. Crews are working to restore 21 separate cases affecting 300 members, although the next storm system coming through could cause further delays in their efforts.

Crews are working on 20 total outage cases affecting 624 members. One of these is a circuit outage at our Payne Lane Substation involving around 300 meters. We did have a report of a pole fire in the area of Hwy 305 & Caroma in Olive Branch.
