I'm not convinced you are able to be trusted. you fell for an MMTLP dumbass and even got her a job in politics purely due to your romantic interest in her. that kind of failure in judgement makes you unreliable in anything bigger than that. if you can tolerate her dumb ass as a personal companion, your judgement as a voice of reason and leader is completely invalid. Her stroking your pinecone wasn't meritocracy in government and was bad stewardship of guvment money. You can say honeypotted by your competitor which may be true, it doesn't change that you were fully on board with corruption when it benefitted you. and yes, getting a government job for an unqualified side piece is government corruption.
