I'm always excited about a new Grizzlies season but this one feels different.
A blank canvas without any clouds hanging over our heads. New players that can write a new story.
It's only year 1 but I like the pieces we have and I like our chances at winning some basketball games

Chris Finch on if the Wolves coach flopping
“We don’t teach flopping here. We don’t teach embellishment. We never have. It probably shows up in Anthony’s free throw rate at times that he doesn’t flop or embellish. But we just don’t teach it here and that’s not the way we play. Maybe we should. Hopefully the league cleans up this crap, because nobody wants to watch it. That’s what they said was the feedback from the fans, is they’re tired of watching the flopping. And we know that i’ts been rewarded at too high of a level, so just stop rewarding the flopping”

"In this league, it's important that you pick a lane, have everyone on the same page. That's how you're able to actually achieve something over time. It's what we decided to do. I think he's gonna bounce back and be quite successful there."

He's never had knee issues to my knowledge? And has never seemed out of shape whatsoever? His strengths aren't elite-level shooting, so what?
“He's got a bad knee, doesn't really work on his physical fitness, I doubt that he's all of a sudden become an elite-level shooter, and he's small. So you have that, you've got a bad defender who's a small guard who can't shoot, who physically is unfit, paired next to a small guard who's a bad defender and who can shoot [in Lillard]. So probably going to be tough.”

Pelicans have been one of the worst ran teams in the NBA. They need a full reset

Today, on his birthday, we remember BC 💙
He will continue to remain at the heart of Grizz Nation.
We will honor his memory together with a pre-game tribute and moment of silence on Opening Night and a BC jersey patch throughout the season 🐻
