Imo the biggest issue with lazer is the amount of changes/features that the devs add and see as "good" that a lot of the community can dislike but will probably never be given both options to choose from Since the devs likely see the old details that players loved as "outdated"

Example: If you fully force traditional notelock on all gameplay, a lot of people will hate it. If you fully remove notelock from all gameplay, a lot of people will still hate it. Rn players can fully submit ranked scores with/without notelock which saves a lot of outrage

"OTD plugins any normal person would consider cheating" Shouldnt there be 0 issue disclosing what this plugin(s) could be then? You cant rly hide anything here from a cheater that they wouldnt be able to find on their own from this. Pls just clear up the confusion for once 😭🙏

agree, all of my thumbnails are made by creative people with multiple revisions and I pay them for their work… so what happens when those people start using ai? not as fully generated thumbnails, but a mockup for ideation, an upscale for low res assets, an agent to update sprints, a summary for a meeting, a search for an asset at what point do you draw the line?

I cried when losing OWC 2021 ($125 prize) and was emotionally fcked up for weeks I slightly messed up in Roundtable tourneys and missed out on thousands of dollars but never truly cared 99% of the time being a rhythm game pro requires passion that u genuinely can't buy anyways

Is this a safe space to say that I think that arcade Rhythm Game tournaments should move away from cash prizes in order to deincentivize anyone from becoming deluded enough to think that being a "pro rhythm gamer" is a thing that's possible.
