This is spot on! Not sure who to tag to get this issue seen more broadly. Mr @michaelsheen ...do you know a benevolent uncle who can help out in the same way you helped the national theatre? 🙏🏼 Petition link here: change.org/p/save-cardiff-un… @cardiffuni @WalesOnline @cardiffunimusic

My research suggests that these conditions & attributes promote professional learning: creativity, authenticity & solidarity. It also indicates that development is reliant on feeling able to articulate learning to others, engage in & with critique & expand (not limit) repertoire.

Because one day, you'll meet Macbeth. And Lady Macbeth. You might work with them. They won't be as extreme. But they exist. And you'll understand what it is that they are doing. Because studying literature is studying what it is to be human. Geography and History and R.E. are...

Rishi Sunak says collapsing schools "wasn't even worthy of a single mention" in Keir Starmer's education speech this summer. Here's the section of Starmer's speech back in July in which he specifically mentioned crumbling schools. #PMQs

Replying to @RishiSunak
So people should trust the Tories to lead the country, given their strong track record in avoiding disaster? Crimes committed. Millions lost. Hundreds of thousands dead. You are ridiculous. General election, please.

Better with the sound off, tbh. What Went Well: @EstherMcVey1 using her platform to draw attention to the strength of feeling regarding years of pay decline and unfunded below-inflation rises for teachers. Even Better If: the voice-over had been better-informed.
Looking out from my window in Westminster… Striking teachers…

Can you imagine walking into a casino, where if you win…fantastic. If you lose, you get your stake back. That’s not how it works. Rishi and Gillian gambled on the STRB, thinking it would be a low recommendation. They have even gone public to say they would abide by it. Their gamble backfired and now they need to face it and pay up, instead of squirming. No integrity whatsoever.
