This first half of 26’ has been some of the worst times in my entire life.. Thankfully it’s halftime, and adjustments will be made. Ts personal all 3rd & 4th Quarter💯

As the man I feel bad for him but it had to be done.. it literally couldn’t be worse.. since 2023 we’ve had a bottom 10 defense year in and year out.. Literally gave up the most points in NFL History in 2024
BREAKING: The #Panthers have fired DC Ejiro Evero, per @JFowlerESPN.
Evero has been Carolina's DC since 2023.

Bryce Young isn't the Panthers' problem.
Carolina ranks 31st of 32 in pass block win rate.
Young has been pressured on 44.3% of his dropbacks against four or fewer pass rushers. Highest rate of any QB in the NFL. That's five blockers losing to four rushers.
He's faced 64 pressures this season. Second-most in the league.
The sacks are charted to the line. Fortner: 4 allowed. Lewis: 4. Hunt beaten cleanly in Week 7.
And through five games, behind all of that, Young was top-10 in efficiency per play, averaged 9.4 air yards per throw, led the NFL in 10+ yard completions, and set a franchise record with 11 TD passes.
Quarterbacks who are the problem don't do that.
What changed is medical. He hurt his knee in Week 3 and has played in a brace since. His pressure-to-sack rate is 17.3% on the season against an 18.4% career mark. The last two weeks: 35.7% and 27.3%.
The escaping stopped. The pressure never did.
Taylor Moton played seven quarters all year and is done for the season. Ekwonu is out after knee surgery. Carolina's tackles are a rookie and a free agent signing.
Put any QB back there and he gets hit.
FINALLYYYYY
Carolina Panthers head coach Dave Canales has announced changes to the defensive coaching staff, parting ways with defensive coordinator Ejiro Evero and defensive passing game coordinator Jonathan Cooley.
Defensive line coach Todd Wash has been named interim defensive coordinator and will call the defensive plays.
Wash originally joined Carolina’s staff in 2023 and has 31 years of coaching experience, including 20 in the NFL. He spent five seasons (2016-20) serving as the defensive coordinator for the Jacksonville Jaguars, including in 2017 when the team had the second-ranked defense in the league and advanced to the AFC Championship Game.
Outside linebackers coach/run game specialist AC Carter’s responsibilities will expand to include coaching the defensive line. Secondary coach Renaldo Hill will continue to oversee the defensive backs.

Chennis Berry is about to be 12-0 in MEAC play. Most of them have NOT been close!
Honestly and truthfully I can’t even be mad at him for much.. down to 4th string as practice squad corners. Best pass rushers gone.. it’s only so much he can do
Alums just being stubborn and acting like alums do and I don’t blame them lmao. They not wrong and have valid points & reasons but failing to see the other side and agree that any/all exposure is great and beneficial for the school
With or without the band isn’t the point I was making lmaoo all I’m saying is it’s p+’s for both sides and if you don’t agree or can’t see it, thats part of the problem on why HBCU’s are where we are today but that’s a whole other conversation.
