Happy November, folks! Here's my Upload Schedule for the Month!(youtube.com/@NuclearSwords) We're putting a hold on Retro Fridays until we finish either Trails or Dawnwalker since I don't want those series to drag on for a long time AND November is filled with the likes of Ocarina of Time and GTA VI, both of which I've preordered. So, we will be alternating uploads between Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter and The Blood of Dawnwalker! Some weeks will have two Trails videos, others will have two Dawnwalker videos with whichever other series taking the middle spot. The entire reason I started uploading is because I wanted to continue doing what I love in creating long and short form YouTube Gaming content while also holding myself accountable for actually completing the games I start. It worked for Hollow Knight: Silksong, Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter, The Outer Worlds 2, Mouse: P.I. for Hire, and all of the awesome retro Capcom Survival Horror games. It seems to be a proven method for me and it makes me SO happy to see the short form content doing so well and having over 370 people subscribed to the content. Here's to more AWESOME gaming and content coming your way in the future!

So, I managed to play ~30 minutes of the remake to The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time last night. Having never played the original, here are my VERY early thoughts: 1. I think the game visually looks amazing. I haven't really encountered anything yet where I look at it and think, "Well, that's a little jank." It's beautiful. 2. I kind of like how the dialogue goes from fully voice acted to just text in certain scenarios. It reminds me of the recent Trails remakes. I'm not sure how the original's dialogue was, but this is a staple for a JRPG and I like it. Keep important dialogue voiced and filler left to the text. 3. Based on just the beginning area, just before talking to the Great Deku Tree, I feel like the game rewards you for exploring the area before continuing on with the objective. I ran across the sword trainer before even attempting to go to the Deku tree and had a fun mini game and very small side quest to obtain the Kokiri Sword. Turns out, I NEEDED to do that anyway! I just didn't have to go Mido first. He was shocked that I had found the sword. It's a fun little sequence that felt rewarding. I love that! 4. The combat (what very little I did) feels pretty good. It feels a lot like Breath of the Wild but, again, this is a VERY early impression so that may change. Either way, I think the hits feel satisfying and I can't wait to dive more into how the combat actually plays out. I genuinely can't wait to get back into it later tonight. I feel like I'm in a euphoric stage in gaming right now. The other day I just discovered Queen's Domain, which has been REALLY impressing me. I've been playing through Trails 2nd Chapter and The Blood of Dawnwalker on my YouTube, I have this game to trek on with, and in just 2 short weeks, GTA VI will be here. Like, I have SOOOOOOO many games to play with so many hours. It's going to be quite the adventure! 🗡️🛡️

Folks, why do I keep thinking about Queen's Domain after starting it last night???

My fellow Twitterians and Followers...I have a HUGE ask for you. This Sunday, I'll be uploading a video for the recently released Fantasy RPG, Queen's Domain. I played ~2 hours and...it's freakin' AWESOME! It does so much right while still remaining very simple. It feels like a mix of Morrowind, Dark Souls, and some modern RPGs that utilize different playstyles in a single playthrough. It's really good. That being said...I'm already in the middle of two different playthroughs on my channel already and I need YOUR HELP in the comments of the video coming out on Sunday to let me know whether or not I should give Queen's Domain a proper playthrough on the channel. So, on Sunday at 10 AM EST, the video releases and I'd love to get your feedback! youtube.com/@nuclearswords

Damn! 40 years of Bethesda Game Studios! Sure, some of their latest stuff hasn't quite been the same since before Fallout 4, but I still love this studio, their games, and the passion they have for them. We're officially on the Road to TESVI: Sentinel!
Today we're sharing with you all the name of the next Elder Scrolls title (did you guess correctly?).

Listen, I get it. But if you're gonna do that then I believe you need Michael to look how he shouldve looked and that's ALL BURNED UP! That way, once Jamie saw him, she would've been truly tested to see if he really was a monster or if there was more behind the scarred body. I actually just researched this movie last night and I don't hate it nearly as much as I remembered or as much as others on the internet. For me, the beginning is kind of weird and the ending is pretty bad, but everything in between is actually pretty good.
Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers (1989) Michael Myers actually shed a tear when Jamie called him Uncle. Director Dominique Othenin-Girard confirmed he wanted to show Michael still had human emotions. His idea was that someone capable of feeling regret but still choosing to kill was even scarier. I actually find that fascinating. For one brief moment, Jamie reaches the man behind the mask. Then he tries to kill her again. Did this make Michael more terrifying, or should he have remained pure evil? #Halloween5 #Halloween #MichaelMyers #Horror #CrystalLake #FridayThe13th #JasonVoorhees

I love Bethesda with all my heart because I've watched the interviews and seen their passion...but all that passion is going to the wrong place. Wes is definitely right. Starfield, while I definitely enjoyed it, felt like...well, like it lacked the Bethesda magic. I miss when random encounters in games like Fallout 3 felt really special and not expected. In Starfield, random encounters are expected because that's all Starfield is when going around on a random planet. Random encounters need to feel special. On top of that, leveling up needs to mean something again. Starting with Fallout 4, it literally meant just getting experience, leveling up, then getting a perk. Fallout 3 let you put points into skills AND get perks. Oblivion and Skyrim made you level up through leveling your skills. Their games, starting with Fallout 4, started losing that. We need to take a big step back. I understand Bethesda doesn't want to go as far back as Morrowind in terms of gameplay since they want to keep it easier for folks to pick up, but at LEAST go back to Oblivion where your class and skills actually mattered. Oh, and make choices have an impact and not just another way to get the same ending please.
My issue with modern Bethesda isn't that they've somehow regressed beyond recognition or forgot how to implement compelling game designs. I don't really think either of those are true. The problem is they've coasted. Imagine if after making The Witcher 3, CD Projekt Red decided to make basically the same game two more times but dumb down just a couple more features each time, and that's basically all they do worth mentioning for the next 15 years. That's the situation we're talking about. Their "keep it simple stupid" philosophy of writing which their lead designer and writer has championed might literally kill them. Bethesda sat on their laurels, and now they're in a position where the sequel to their most popular game ever is doomed to disappoint people AGAIN simply because the wait has been far too long and expectations have ballooned beyond reason. It's insane to see a giant of the industry fall like this.

I did something similar with Fallout 4 and it was fun to be playing it before most others, but...I think I can wait until midnight on the 19th XD I took PTO for the 19th and the 20th and I'll probably get it all set up and ready to go by midnight! Once it releases, I am glued 😂
How to play GTA 6 ~18 hours early on PS5, on your own account: 1 - Make a New Zealand PSN account 2 - Go to Settings > Users and Accounts > Other > Console Sharing and Offline Play > Enable 3 - Buy a New Zealand Gift Card online 4 - Buy GTA 6 in the NZ account 5 - When GTA 6 comes out, download it from the NZ account then go to your own profile 6 - The game will be fully accessible on your own personal profile, no need to play on the New Zealand account anymore 7 - Enjoy! You’ll be able to play GTA 6 at New Zealand’s midnight, which could be up to 18 hours early if you’re in the USA or about ~10-14 hours in Europe

This scene, by itself, made me actually really enjoy Halloween 3.
This is still one of the wildest horror movie deaths
