Adam Adamowicz created concept art for Brotherhood scribe robes in Fallout 3 (the same item also later appeared in New Vegas). The concept art included an unused Scribe rank insignia that did not make it onto the item.

In Fallout 76, the scribe robes are a reward unlocked from season 26, modeled after their appearance in past games. Although the Scribe insignia from Adamowicz's concept art was again left unused, its placement inspired the inclusion of the standard BoS logo on the FO76 version.
