Sarah Trone Garriott apparently forgot her own record tonight. Here’s a reminder: Sarah Trone Garriott urged Congress to prioritize race based $4 billion in farm debt relief for farmers. This would effectively have shut out Iowa farmers. Sarah Trone Garriott’s kooky plans are bad news for Iowa.

That’s why we invested millions in rural cancer care and made it law that Medicare can cover the new tests that catch cancer before you ever have a symptom. Dollars closer to patients, care closer to home.

I delivered the largest rural health care investment in our nation's history, with $209 million going to Iowa's rural hospitals and clinics this year. Sarah Trone Garriott’s plan is to repeal it and send more of your tax dollars to Washington to fund a government takeover of Iowa health care.
