Andy Burnham has met Muslim community leaders in Downing Street and accused his political rivals of using “unacceptable” language when discussing Islam. This is not the first time senior Labour politicians have accused their political opponents of crossing the line when discussing Islam, its history and its practices. Labour MPs have repeatedly branded opposition politicians who criticise Islam “Islamophobic”. Earlier this year, 26 Labour MPs reported Reform UK to the Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) over its comments about Islam. Labour MPs also reported the Conservative Shadow Justice Secretary, Nick Timothy, to the Parliamentary Commissioner for Standards and accused him of being “Islamophobic”. He even faced calls for his sacking from the then Prime Minister, Sir Keir Starmer, after criticising a mass Muslim prayer event in Trafalgar Square. In a free country where blasphemy laws were abolished 18 years ago, politicians and private citizens must be free to criticise, question and debate any religion — including Islam. But that was not the only revelation to emerge from the Downing Street meeting. It has been reported that Angela Rayner told Muslim community leaders she was preparing to announce the appointment of an “anti-Muslim hostility” tsar. Given that Rayner appointed five individuals to the Working Group tasked with drafting the “anti-Muslim hostility” definition, all of whom had troubling links to Islamist organisations, and that her department falsely claimed to have deleted all responses to its consultation on the definition, who on earth will she appoint? In December 1992, 16-year-old Suzanne Capper was abducted in Manchester and subjected to seven days of horrific torture. When rescuers finally found her, she had suffered burns across approximately 80% of her body—and was still alive. Suzanne had no stable home and often stayed with different people. One place she had known was the home of Jean Powell, a 26-year-old woman who had babysat her when she was younger. But that house became the setting for a nightmare. On December 7, Powell and Bernadette McNeilly reportedly lured Suzanne there under the pretense of a party. Instead, she was seized and held captive. The group’s grievances reportedly involved a borrowed coat and accusations that Suzanne had given them pubic lice. Over the following week, Suzanne was beaten, abused, injected with drugs, and subjected to degrading acts of torture. She was restrained and left in agony. On December 14, her captors drove her to a remote area near Werneth Low, poured petrol over her, and set her on fire. They left, believing she was dead. But Suzanne was still alive. Despite her catastrophic injuries, she staggered nearly a quarter-mile toward a road. Passing motorists found her and called for help. One man later recalled being struck by how polite Suzanne was. Even while suffering unimaginable pain, she repeatedly thanked the woman who stayed with her while they waited for an ambulance. At the hospital, Suzanne identified those responsible. She died on December 18, 1992. In 1993, four people—including Jean Powell and Bernadette McNeilly—were convicted of her mu*der and sentenced to life imprisonment. Two others were convicted of false imprisonment. Suzanne was only 16. Her final moments were marked by extraordinary suffering, but also by a remarkable act of courage: even after everything she endured, she found the strength to reach the road and seek help. Her story remains a chilling reminder of the cruelty people can inflict—and of the desperate determination of a young girl who refused to give up.

The nation has been left stunned after a man who got a tax payer-funded BBC chauffeur to pick up his 16-year-old girlfriend from school when he was 29 years old has turned out to be a rapist. I mean where were the signs? The man in question is attempted comedian Russell Brand—someone who mysteriously carved out a TV and movie career despite not being remotely funny or likeable. If you don’t know who I’m talking about, Brand is the one who always looks like he’s pissing on railway lines. Yes, he’s the ex-husband of the first woman to take a joy ride in space! Brand ended his marriage to Katy Perry when the allegations against him first emerged. He then became a Youtuber so he could convince people that the eventual court case was an establishment stitch up. This argument would’ve been more convincing if he’d found a single person to defend his character in court. Brand conveniently discovered that he loved Jesus and started carrying a Bible everywhere he went. This was definitely not for the cameras. He was interviewed by Piers Morgan who asked him which Bible passages were most meaningful to him. Unfortunately, he couldn’t answer. At least he’ll have plenty of time to spend with his booky wook in prison. Brand actually thought he was gonna be redemeed, saying he could “feel God’s presence” while walking into court. He told his social media followers the prayers seemed to be working. Unfortunately for him, God doesn’t like rapists any more than the jury did. After falling silent while the prosecution cross-examined him on why he kept groping women without their consent, and forcing himself on them, he was convicted of rape and three counts of sexual assault. This came as a huge surprise to everyone who’d looked the other way for the past 25 years. Brand will no doubt be delighted to find that many prison inmates share his disregard for consent. I’m sure he won’t object if his big strong cellmate decides he just can’t help himself. Brand’s sex crimes were so well-known that his fellow comedians called him out on stage for years before the law caught up with him. It’s not like he kept any of this a secret. He bragged about his rapes and sexual assaults in a book that reached number 1 in the Sunday Times best sellers list and was widely praised by critics. He was declared Shagger of the Year three times by the Sun newspaper. His management enrolled him in a sex addiction clinic where he was asked to draw up a list of all the women he’d wronged. He compared the process to Saddam Hussein being asked about individual kurds he’d killed. In a follow-up memoir, he wrote of his time in the “nicky wick”, “If this is what I’m telling you, can you imagine what’s being left out?” Brand was so confident of his crimes that he laughed on the radio about how he indecently exposed himself to women. He even offered to send his naked assistant to one man during an interview—the man in question was Sir Jimmy Saville. Brand caused a public outcry in 2008 when he called 78-year-old Andrew Sachs for his BBC Radio 2 show with Jonathan Woss. The incident was pre-recorded and producers decided it was fine to air. During the call, Brand said, “I shagged your granddaughter”, made a mock apology to Sachs, and then suggested he commit suicide. Since humiliating old people counts as entertainment in the UK, both men continued to have successful TV careers and Brand even starred in a couple of terrible Hollywood movies. It’s funny how rapists fail upwards, isn’t it? Brand is just the latest in a long line of people to follow the proud BBC tradition of sexual offences. They include Sir Jimmy Saville, Rolf Harris CBE, Stuart Hall OBE, Huw Edwards MBE, Chris Denning, and Tim Westwood. You’ll be pleased to know the BBC did their utmost to shelter these men for years until the law caught up with them. Aren’t you glad you’re forced to pay your licence fee?

Grim news. Burnham has signed us up to 'time-bound' talks on a slavery apology. I have tabled a parliamentary motion calling for the opposite... Here's what it demands. - No apologies from the House of Commons for Britain's historical involvement in slavery. - Not one penny in slavery reparations from British taxpayers. - Official recognition and gratitude from these African/Caribbean nations for Britain's role in abolishing the slave trade and the sacrifices of Royal Navy sailors. - Immediate termination of all British foreign aid, development assistance and taxpayer-funded grants to countries whose governments demand slavery reparations. - A ban on UK visas for citizens of countries whose governments make such demands. - An end to national self-flagellation over Britain's history, and pride in our country's contribution to abolishing the slave trade. All MPs have been invited to support. Not one has signed, so far.

Please retweet to help Koda find a home #ESSEX #UK Available for adoption, registered British charity✅✅✅ Details or apply below 👇👇👇 gsrelite.co.uk/koda-4/ 'May I introduce Koda who was born April 2024. He is microchipped but it is not registered and no vaccinations and he is still entire. Koda is being rehomed because his original owner basically abandoned him onto his dad meaning he is stuck in a crate the majority of the time in a busy house, only getting out for short walks and to be fed. Considering, Koda is a lovely lad! He is good with older children and other dogs, but can get over excited, understandably. No to cats. He walks quite nicely on lead and has basic commands, but recall needs a bit more work. Weare told he guards food, but that may be because he is slightly underweight, and he will destroy toys, probably due to frustration. Koda had a very short spell in foster where it became apparent that he was very protective of the women in the house and was not at all happy when the males wanted to join the family group. Conclusions from this behaviour can be drawn and must be understood as this will be a major issue that needs to be worked with. Koda basically needs a new start in life please in a home where he will have the space and attention to be the dog he should be. Would probably live with another dog with little trouble.' - German Shepherd Elite Rescue @gsrescueelite Apply to adopt gsrelite.co.uk/contact/adopt… Location: Essex - KENNELS Male Age: DOB 22.4.24 Neutered: Yes Good with children: Yes - Older Only Good with other dogs: Yes females only Good with cats: No Maybe able to rehome to another area, other dogs also available for adoption or fostering, please visit the website. #dogs #adoptdontshop @KatieAmess #Malinois #GermanShepherds #pets

This is Naveed Aktar who has just been granted Cat D prison and day release to help him settle back into the community. He is the brother of the man who owned the "party house" that was used to abuse me in for years and for men from across the Country to come and abuse me and others. He was convicted of 2 counts of rape and given 17 years in 2019. He was also caught smuggling drugs into prison through the crown court toilets during the trial and given extra time. He has served just a fraction of these sentences and is soon going to back back in society.

Gent in purple, "State pensioners who have contributed their whole lives are on a lot less than minimum wage" "I'm very lucky to have a small German pension, and believe me, it's a lot more than what we pay in this country" "Most of western Europe their pensions are much higher than the state pension in this country" "I'm lucky I get a pension from the military" "But people on the basic state pension, I reall feel sorry for them" My view: The full new State Pension is roughly £12,548 a year. Someone working 37.5 hours a week on the £12.71 minimum wage earns about £24,785 before tax. That puts the full new State Pension at barely half a full-time minimum-wage salary. Government figures show that 12% of pensioner families received their income entirely from the State Pension and other state benefits in 2024/25. That same year, around 1.7 million pensioners — one in seven — were living in relative poverty after housing costs. A better pension means being able to heat your home, eat properly and see friends without calculating what you’ll have to go without afterwards. It also means money spent in the communities where pensioners live. After a lifetime of working, caring and contributing, financial security should be something people can expect.

Can we have some shares for Connie to help her on her way? 🙏 🐶 🐾 she’s not had any enquiries so far. Connie is a 9 year old female cross breed. She is looking for a new home as sadly her owner passed away. Connie is best in a home without other pets as this is what she is use too. She would be best in a home without kids. Connie is chipped and spayed and fully house trained. She gets heart medication daily for her cardiac valve, she does well on her medication which doesn't cause her any issues. Connie eats butchers complete wet food, grain free and absolutely loves treats! She adores people and will jump up to sit next to anyone who visits. She is registered with the vets. Her owner's family have agreed to pay half of her monthly medication for the rest of her life. Connie travels well in the car. She walks well on the lead but will pull if she sees another dog. Connie isn't a fan of being groomed. She would be best with someone who is on their own or a couple looking for a companion. For more information please email [email protected]

This is absolutely insane. An immigrant gets caught attempting to steal a fishing boat at Ramsgate harbour in a bid to go pick up his family from France. Thankfully, the crew was on board and managed to stop him. Why is he roaming freely in the middle of the night? Why is he even here? Get him out.

November is Islamophobia Awareness Month. Good. Let us do some awareness of our own. A girl's tongue nailed to the table for threatening to talk. A kettle of boiling water held over a pinned down girl's face. Another threatened with a gun to blow her face off. A girl told her family would have their throats cut and be decapitated. Oxford victims scratched, choked, beaten, branded, burnt, gang raped, assaulted with knives and a baseball bat. Girls locked in bedsits like animals, no food, no toilet. Deliberate addiction to hard drugs and alcohol. Pregnancy as punishment, then backstreet abortions. A 13 year old found on examination to have been raped more than 50 times. A 12 year old, Samantha, abducted in Oldham, thrown out of a moving car, then locked in a room and raped by five men for nearly 24 hours. Another 12 year old was doused in petrol and told she would burn if she talked. Now the pattern. Average age of the convicted, 29. Most of them married. Most of them with daughters the same age. Not confused boys. Grown men who knew. Mainly from Pakistan. For a quarter of a century the word was racist. Not a case, not a report, not a counter argument. Just the word, thrown at every parent, every councillor, every copper and every journalist. It worked. Councils wrote reports commanding that culture must not be mentioned. Police told mothers to do the detective work themselves. The victims were called prostitutes. The Crown Prosecution Service refused to take Rochdale in 2009. A twenty minute film was made for exactly this, paid for by the state, trialled in a few Sheffield schools and left on a shelf for nearly twenty years. The man in it is Asian, not even Muslim, and still that was too much. Meanwhile the borders are wide open and the queue keeps growing. Eritrean, Sudanese, Afghan, Somali, Kurdish, Albanian and Roma names now sit in the conviction lists alongside the Pakistani ones. But the boats bring more than rapists. Two IRGC operatives who arrived by small boat were charged in 2026 with plotting an attack on Jewish targets in Manchester. An Iraqi already convicted of Islamic State membership came in on the identical route. Nineteen suspected of terrorist activity, some with Daesh links, were picked out of Channel arrivals, and officials admit Islamic State fighters could use it too. Every new cohort brings its own version of the con, and nobody at the top is counting. Islamophobic is the new word doing the old job. It is not an argument. It is a stop sign. For twenty-five years the pattern was known, the reports were written and the cases were coming through the courts, yet naming the men who did it was treated as the greater offence. The same refusal continues. Inquiries are narrowed or delayed. Police and councils still treat the ethnic pattern as a problem of messaging rather than a problem of crime. The result is plain: networks that rape, traffic and torture girls on an industrial scale have operated with relative impunity, while those who document the pattern face the greater official hostility. That is the cost of the word. A twenty-minute film was commissioned by a government agency, trialled in Sheffield schools and then left unused because the perpetrator was Asian. The girls it was meant to warn never saw it. The pattern it illustrated has not stopped. November is Islamophobia Awareness Month. Be aware.
