The Dollar’s On-Chain Future
Saudi Arabia’s exit from China’s mBridge is a strategic loss for Beijing. The platform was meant to move cross-border payments onto a China-linked digital currency network and weaken the dollar’s grip on global finance.
Saudi Arabia, China’s largest oil supplier and the core of the Gulf’s dollar monetary order, was its most important potential partner.
Its departure makes the point: finance is moving on-chain, and the contest is whether the new system runs on dollars or renminbi.
Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent has it right: “Standards are strategy.” Standards decide what backs digital money, who controls settlement, which collateral is trusted, and whose rules govern global finance. mBridge was China’s bid to set those rules.
The GENIUS Act is America’s answer: regulated dollar stablecoins backed by cash and short-term Treasuries. That makes the dollar programmable, global, and available 24 hours a day. Every stablecoin expands demand for the dollar assets behind it.
Democrats have shown their hand. Senator Elizabeth Warren’s coalition blocked the CLARITY Act and remains committed to governing crypto through hostility, delay, and uncertainty.
But that war is ending. The SEC and CFTC are moving toward rules for digital assets, tokenized securities, and market infrastructure. Crypto is leaving regulatory purgatory and entering the regulated financial system.
Wall Street is missing the trade. Stablecoins are the on-chain cash leg, tokenization puts Treasuries, money-market funds, equities, private credit, commodities, and collateral on the same rails. Together, they create continuous settlement, programmable finance, and global digital-dollar liquidity.
Last year, the consensus on Wall Street was simple: AI was the only game in town. The AI bottleneck trade, chips, hyperscalers, data centres, networking equipment, power, and cooling, became the most crowded trade in the market. That phase is ending.
The next phase broadens beyond compute and into the financial architecture that will support a digital economy: regulated dollar stablecoins, tokenized Treasuries and securities, digital custody, on-chain settlement, and Bitcoin.
Bretton Woods 2.0 is being built in real time, and capital will move from the AI buildout to the monetary and market infrastructure layer that makes the new economy transact.
Saudi Arabia has rejected China’s alternative. The GENIUS Act has opened the path for digital dollars. The SEC is writing rules for tokenized markets. The on-chain dollar system is being built, and Wall Street is not positioned for it.

The more you play across AI tools the more deeply you realize that context is everything - and likely the next attempted moat.
@heydittoai is one of the only solutions I know of that meaningfully goes after and exploits this, freeing you up to go wherever you want to. $TAO

seeing a lot of #subnet capitulation on my timeline. some things to consider:
1) trading mechanics
like it or not, subnets are both 1) highly-correlated to bittensor:native and 2) higher-beta than TAO.
alt season has already started. capital rotation from ZEC=>TAO is just getting under way.
it makes *no sense*, in my opinion, to sell #subnets when we are on the doorstep of a massive run-up in TAO price. subnet prices (as measured by Sum of Subnets, or SoS) may lag initially vs. TAO...but at the apex of the oncoming TAO bull run, subnets will *wildly* outperform the base currency as traders/investors move out on the risk curve for higher returns once TAO has already moved violently higher.
don't overthink it. if you wait for exposure, it will be too late.
2) diversification
if you are selling subnets, I have a suggestion for you: perhaps your problem is not subnet exposure, but trade timeline (you are too short-term focused). stop flipping in and out of subnets with short-term trades, trying to multiple your TAO overnight. it will backfire, and you will lose: you will rotate back into TAO at local lows with tail tucked between legs.
instead, seek to gain broad exposure to subnets (SoS). you can do this either by 1) staking to root and letting your subnet basket compound while not risking your core TAO position (essentially risk-free!), or 2) through a white-glove service like @TrustedStake that will allow you to gain broad diversified exposure to high-quality subnets without having to worry about 1) daily moves in price or 2) the mechanics of constantly rebalancing.
*diversification* is the key many are missing. you (probably) wouldn't take your entire 401k and put it into one stock. so don't take a large % of your TAO stack and dump it into low-liquidity, high-beta subnets. all subnets are still experimental, and will have VC-like returns (higher rate of failure, but *massive* outperformance for those that succeed). the key is surviving and (unemotionally) waiting for the successes.
3) compound interest
also; remember the power of compound interest. many subnets are earning 40%+ APY; so if you approach subnet investing with a long-term mindset, it will be *very* hard to lose money over time.
good luck and Godspeed.

Open models continue taking share. Not just tokens, more $ now spent on open models than OpenAI.
Positive for the AI infra trade.
Open models taking share shift $ margin from the model layer to the infra and app layers.
Looks like today may be a record day for token volume % of open models on Vercel AI Gateway:
🟦 Open 78.4% 🟨 Closed 21.6%
While spend 💲 usually tells a different story, #3 and #4 today are Moonshot AI & DeepSeek. Adding Z.ai, their combined spend surpasses OpenAI (#2).
(Do note that's the spend for inference of the model across providers (mostly in the US), not revenue going directly to the open weight labs.)

This is what the cartel fears.
This is why they need to engineer a safety panic to ban and achieve regulatory capture.

As I predicted six months ago on the pod — and some folks laughed at it. 💅
Pull the tape and let's get the VICTORY FAP going! 😂

SayGm's routing runs inside an Intel TDX enclave. NEAR AI Cloud runs the model inside one too. Two operators in the path, neither with visibility into the request.
