A delightful way to end the year by attending @1211AirCadets annual presentation evening. Congratulations to the many award recipients (Cadets & CFAVs) and thank you to the remarkable staff team for delivering another fantastic year of activities 👏 See you in 2024!
Delighted that my last duty as OC @SEMidsWgRAFAC was to represent the @aircadets at today’s Leicestershire’s #ArmedForcesDay2021 service. Somewhat different this year, nevertheless still a very special occasion.
This account will now be assigned to my successor (when appointed). Feel free to follow @RAFAC_SnrCFAV as I transition into my new role as @aircadets Senior Volunteer Advisor. It’s been an absolute honour to lead the Wing over the last 5 years 🙏
Excellent video by @1279SqnATC reinforcing the close ties between local cadet forces and veterans across the community 👏
Reflecting on #armedforcesweek, our cadets have recently spoken to @VeteransGovUK about why it is important to support veterans and the special relationship that @RAFAMelton have with the squadron @cabinetofficeuk @aircadets @aliciakearns @OC_SEMids #team1279 #aspireandachieve
