Happy birthday, Grandma Gatewood! Emma "Grandma" Gatewood made hiking history at age 67 when she became the first woman to hike the entire Appalachian Trail solo in 1955. Today, the 6-mile Grandma Gatewood Trail at Hocking Hills State Park honors her legacy 🥾
