Ontario making daylight saving time permanent in Kenora and parts of northwestern Ontario that have historically been aligned with neighbouring Manitoba. ⏰
Under the change, affected communities won’t need to turn their clocks back on November 1, 2026, which avoids disrupting businesses, families and Indigenous communities.
Maintaining alignment with Manitoba will provide greater certainty, support more efficient cross-border business operations and make it easier to coordinate everyday activities, including health-care appointments and travel.
