"You're a lying, gluttonous, cowardly woman but I choose to spend time with you." Daggers of truth stabbed at her as he looked at her with a blank expression. "And I will do so if I so choose...and I choose to do so. You're not terrible company, Cissia."

"That is due to my duties having my hands tied and your requirement for fieldwork. Mere coincidence." He does try to not be so work oriented but habits were hard to kill. "Would you prefer more instances of these sort of outings?" He probed her with straight bluntness.

Her mannerisms, bluntly speaking, were cute and pathetic. He crossed his arms over his chest as he watched her having a self diagnosed breakdown. "Is there a problem Cissia?" His tone held a knowing expression, only asking for courtesy just so she doesn't harm her brain.

He waved over a server. "Two cherry lemonades, jasmine tea, and two plates of dumplings please." The server would step away with their order before his attention settled on his assistant once more.

It wouldn't be bad in the first place. She's always so dramatic. But the pair would finally arrive and be seated at a table, the two getting looks due to their rather unique arrival; Him pulling her by her collar. "What will you be having to drink, Cissia?"

Of course he's paying. Stop being so dramatic. "Dumplings? I suppose that's fine. Haven't had those in a while." He didn't need a sense of smell like her when he immediately knew where the stall was. He took them there immediately.

Such an overdramatic creature he's taken in. "What's calling to you at this time of day? I'm paying so don't feel limited." He advised whilst the Duo made quite the odd pair in public.

"Do not disappoint me. You've done rather exemplary on your recent jobs. Fix your face." He bluntly advised as his hand reached behind him and slipped a finger into her collar. He pulled her allowing like one would an unwilling dog.

"Make sure your "confusion" has a suitable argument. As for dinner, I suppose I can afford to step away from work. Come along, Cissia." He turned swiftly, already moving without even caring for her confirmation.

...is that his brother right behind her? He looks rather annoyed... No such brother. It was a distraction as he ran away.

"No...no I am not. If we did indeed have an intruder, you would be much more alarmed, or you would have notified someone. ...leading me to believe you're hunting for something much simpler..." He said flatly while judging the snake thiren.

He's not getting her anything! She's the one harassing him anyway! And they're not snacks!

ᅠ ᅠ ᅠ ⠀ᅠ “ … are you doing okay ? ” Severian had immediately leaned over her left shoulder, he might’ve been the ‘ demon-lord ’ but he still cared for his associates. ᅠ ᅠ ᅠ ⠀ᅠ

...why is she judging!? They're not snacks, but helpful boosts when he's trapped. Go find something else!

Long enough that it's worrying that she just noticed him. "And what exactly are you doing, Case Analyst Cissia...?"

Glancing at her with a brow raised.

...the smaller cat!? He's of average height! And yes, he has some protein bars.

...What is she doing?
