Rapper Pusha T, who was named in a FBI crisis intake form in the Epstein files, continues to spread lies about Drake. For clarity, Drake was a past client of TAG and is no longer repped by Melissa Nathan. Drake has nothing to do with the latest reports about actress Rebel Wilson.

📣Update X has added a new feature that allows accounts to disclose ads on their posts. Accounts must comply with FTC guidelines and X’s policy to avoid suspension or removal of their posts. The policy requires posts sponsored by a third-party to be disclosed on the post, not just in the replies.

OVODocket Opinion: Why is UMG Recordings hesitant to provide Drake’s legal team with the unredacted version of Kendrick Lamar’s recording contract? Two things. 1. We believe it’s because Interscope Records was irresponsible enough to place certain stipulations in Kendrick Lamar’s contract that not only incentivized him to engage in the rap battle with Drake but would also reward him following the rap battle. 2. We believe Kendrick Lamar’s contract contains language that proves Drake’s legal team’s allegation that UMG has the authority to alter/edit/remove Kendrick Lamar’s music and related works. Thereby, UMG was fully capable of stopping the defamatory statements in “Not Like Us” from being published and promoted, which they failed to do. Per legal filings, an additional contract agreement between Interscope Records and Kendrick Lamar was executed on April 27 2024.

📣UPDATE: The November 2025 copyright infringement lawsuit against Drake, UMG Recordings, and Republic Records over Drake's "What Did I Miss?" music video has been DISMISSED with prejudice. Plaintiff never served the lawsuit on any defendants. There was no settlement paid.

X’s new feature helps users verify the authenticity of the content they see. For nearly two years, accounts like these have spread blatant lies about Drake and claimed he’s “not hip-hop culture” due to his Canadian nationality. The irony.

Our stance has always been that “Not Like Us” is defamatory because Kendrick Lamar falsely labels Drake a pedophile and registered sex offender. Statements that can be verified as true or false, not statements of opinion. But maybe some need to hear it from other attorneys.

The two filings today from Drake’s legal team argue that UMG is improperly shielding CEO Lucian Grainge from scrutiny, reversing UMG’s own prior statements about Grainge’s role, and withholding evidence central to Drake’s claims.
