The wait is over. Docker Swarm is now in Openship.
And there’s more:
• PostgreSQL + Redis replication, a few clicks from your topology
• Password-protected hostnames at the edge
• Lots of bug fixes and security updates across the platform.

OpenShip now checks your running apps against published security advisories.
When your runtime or image is affected, we warn you in the app and through your notification channels - with a one-click update for supported fixes.
Know what’s affected. Know what to do. Get it patched.
Automatic patching is optional and off by default. You stay in control.
Available in OpenShip 0.9.5.

We know how painful it is to move everything to a new platform and start from scratch.
That's why we built migration into OpenShip from the ground up.
Full migration is now supported with just a few clicks, including your apps, routes, certificates, settings, and data.
If you're already running an app - whether it's bare Docker, Coolify, Dokploy, or anything else - migration is designed to be safe, with zero downtime on the same server and minimal downtime when moving between servers.
No rebuilding needed. No starting over. Just move your workloads to OpenShip.
How it works:
New Project → Select from Existing → Choose Server → Inspect
OpenShip discovers your existing apps, routes, settings, and configuration. Select the app, optionally link its repository, and hit Migrate.
That's it.
You don't have to start over. And you're never locked in.

We’re launching OpenShip Cloud.
A managed cloud that lets you deploy and run everything from a single dashboard - without stitching together a bunch of different services and subscriptions.
Docker apps, databases, app templates, PostgreSQL, Redis, Supabase, Convex, and more.
OpenShip Cloud works on a simple model: you get a shared pool of compute that you can use across all your projects, instead of paying separately for every app.
You get the economics of buying a VPS, with the full platform experience of a managed cloud - without having to manage the infrastructure yourself.
And we’re going even further.
Serverless-based deployments is also supported, so your subscription stays clean and you only use resources when your workloads actually run.
OpenShip Cloud is finally here.
It’s simply an option for those who want quick, managed deployments without managing the infrastructure themselves.

It’s been a few weeks since our last update, but we’ve been working on the next big step for OpenShip:
You could already deploy your product with OpenShip.
Now, you can scale it across servers as it grows.
OpenShip now handles:
> Automated cluster setup
> Private networking
> Application replicas (PostgreSQL & Redis)
> Shared storage
> Backups & recovery
- Your coding agent can now be your DevOps engineer.
Through MCP, Codex and Claude Code can set up clusters, deploy apps, scale instances, inspect logs, and manage backups.
- The new Services Canvas brings your infrastructure into one view.
See your apps, databases, running instances, and routes together. Open a service, inspect it, and make changes right there.
And meet Ship SDK...
We refactored the core so deployment can become part of your own code.
Build workflows in JavaScript or TypeScript, control an existing OpenShip instance, or embed the engine directly into your product.
- And finally, OpenShip Cloud is also live for beta testing.
Our goal is a smooth deployment experience with managed environments and fair pricing, for anyone who wants to focus on their product without maintaining servers.
This release also improves the everyday work: environment management, Compose migration, routing, backups, rollbacks, and deployment logs.
OpenShip remains open source and self-hostable.
Deploy with OpenShip. Scale with OpenShip.
Coding harnesses are the most capable agents in the market right now.
If a harness can build, test, verify, use its own tools, and complete end-to-end tasks by itself...
it can power almost anything.
But there was one problem.
These harnesses are insanely powerful, but they're still mostly used as tools for developers.
What was missing was the infrastructure to turn them into actual product capabilities.
The engine was already there.
We just needed the transmission.
So that's why we built MindWire.
A runtime to turn the most powerful agentic harnesses into customizable AI workers inside your products.
MindWire is self-hosted, open-source, and built in Go. It connects directly to existing harnesses through one unified interface.
Think OpenRouter, but for harnesses.
Use Grok Build, Claude Code, Codex, opencode, and more.
Switch harnesses without rebuilding your product around each one.
And most importantly:
Make them yours.
Your tools.
Your prompts.
Your instructions.
Your logic.
Turn a coding harness into whatever specialized AI worker your product needs — while keeping the raw power of the underlying harness.
And it's not just an SDK.
MindWire gives you the runtime + management console + infrastructure to deploy, manage, monitor, and scale your workers across multiple runtimes and clusters.
The harnesses already exist. MindWire makes them usable as infrastructure.
Build your AI workers. Deploy them. Scale them.
And this isn't a concept.
MindWire is open source and available now.
The runtime, SDKs, console, and integrations are all there.
If you're building with agents, go see how it works ↓

OpenShip v0.6.6 is out. A big release focused on migration, observability, integrations, and production readiness.
- Mailbox notification channels, Forward incoming emails to channels like Telegram or Discord, with filters for specific recipients. Keep an eye on the mail that matters, wherever you prefer.
- First-class project migration & cloning, From the Projects advanced tab, move or clone an entire OpenShip project to another server with one click. Built specifically for OpenShip projects, making migrations much simpler.
- Dedicated Credentials tab, Add Cloudflare credentials for automatic DNS configuration, or credentials for importing private images.
- Dedicated Audit Log tab, Filter and inspect everything happening on your server, including MCP activity, so you can see exactly what your agents are doing.
- Lots of bug fixes and stability improvements, OpenShip is now more reliable and production-ready.
We trust it with our own workloads, and you can too. Upgrade now and let us know what you think.

well well well, you all waited for this...
Following our self-hosted email flows that everybody was excited about, we decided to do 2 things:
we got your self-hosted Resend now - but with your own infrastructure, your own inbox, and no limitations. easy to deploy, easy to integrate, and fully under your control.
- OpenShip Email can now be standalone email services, so you can have it as a dedicated product, running multiple email instances
- Second, for the deliverability issue that you all feared about, we made a cool flow: we separated the sending from receiving - automatically without making you deal with a complicated email setup or a bunch of configuration.
You simply choose AWS Relay / Oracle / any provider you want for the sending part, and OpenShip handles the rest. this means your emails can use a reliable external sending provider for better deliverability, while your inbox stays fully self-hosted. and if you want, you can still self-host the sending part as well with one click.
You get a self-hosted inbox with a modern UI and API without having to build or manage all of this yourself
Also since AWS SES is only a sending point, that will help you use your email like yello@yourdomain and still get a way and webmail to reply. It didn't become just only the sending part.
- So you have no limitation over your inbox quota
- your emails never leave your infrastructure
- no one controls or reads it
- full email power, easy to integrate with everything you want.
Try it now, many improvements happened.
OpenShip Mail is all you need.

Introducing OpenShip Deep Monitoring & Project Analytics
Since every request already passes through the OpenShip Edge, we decided to make full use of it
You now get real-time analytics for every application without adding SDKs or changing your code
- Live traffic map
- Visitors by country
- Route-level analytics
- Response times and request metrics
- Domain filtering
- Live request stream
- Live resource usage over time
Everything is aggregated asynchronously in memory at the edge, so the analytics come with virtually no application overhead
The platform is also more stable than ever, and we've got a lot more coming.
