On GB News two nights ago Paul Richards was advocating for conscription and for “pro Russian voices” to be thrown in jail, including those saying “don’t go to war for Burnham”
Paul Richards is the Treasurer of the Fabian Society and has previously served as a Labour special adviser.

A senior figure within Labour was on national television talking about locking ordinary British people up for voicing opposition to World War III and he was supported in his views by GB News host and Tory politician Jacob Rees-Mogg.
People should be extremely concerned when influential political figures start talking so casually about imprisoning people for opposing the government and opposing a war.
This is a clear threat to our rights of freedom of speech and democracy.
