Last few days has seen the return of many Avocets to breed here. Amongst them is this 12 yr old ringed bird that has been seen every year here since 2017. It was originally ringed as a chick on the French coast 500km south of here. Do let us know if you see it - when and where.

Be aware of a yellow warning for wind today & tomorrow. Here at the coast this brings risk of extremely high waves at the shoreline & very strong gusts along cliff lines & cliff tops. The coastline's dangerous in such poor weather so please stay away, #staysafe & be #beachaware
