प्रधानमंत्री श्री @narendramodi जी के नेतृत्व में भारत की ऊर्जा नीति का लक्ष्य स्पष्ट है, आयात पर निर्भरता कम करना, घरेलू संसाधनों का पूरा उपयोग करना और देश की ऊर्जा जरूरतों के लिए मजबूत व्यवस्था तैयार करना।
मोदी सरकार निरंतर इस दिशा में प्रयासरत है।
🔹 1. Exploration में नई शुरुआत
पहले प्रतिबंधित रहे 99% से अधिक ‘No-Go Areas’ अब खोल दिए गए हैं। 2014 के बाद राष्ट्रीय गैस ग्रिड लगभग दोगुना हो चुका है। इससे घरेलू तेल एवं गैस की खोज और आपूर्ति के लिए नए अवसर बने हैं।
🔹 2. हर घर तक स्वच्छ ईंधन
33 करोड़ से अधिक LPG उपभोक्ताओं तक खाना पकाने का ईंधन पहुँच रहा है, जिनमें 10 करोड़ से अधिक प्रधानमंत्री उज्ज्वला योजना के लाभार्थी हैं। यह स्वच्छ ईंधन की पहुँच बढ़ाने की दिशा में महत्वपूर्ण कदम है।
🔹 3. अन्नदाता से ऊर्जादाता
एथेनॉल ब्लेंडिंग से ₹2 लाख करोड़+ की विदेशी मुद्रा की बचत हुई और किसानों को ₹1.5 लाख करोड़ से अधिक का भुगतान हुआ। ऊर्जा नीति को कृषि और ग्रामीण अर्थव्यवस्था से जोड़ने का यह अहम उदाहरण है।
🔹 4. राजस्थान रिफाइनरी से औद्योगिक शक्ति:
₹79,459 करोड़ की HPCL राजस्थान रिफाइनरी भारत की रिफाइनिंग और पेट्रोकेमिकल क्षमता को नई मजबूती दे रही है। इससे ईंधन के साथ-साथ प्लास्टिक और अन्य औद्योगिक क्षेत्रों के लिए जरूरी पेट्रोकेमिकल उत्पादों का घरेलू उत्पादन बढ़ने के साथ रोजगार के नए अवसर सृजित हो रहे हैं ।
🔹 5. ‘समुद्र मंथन’ और ‘गोबर-धन’ से नए अवसर
‘समुद्र मंथन’ के जरिए समुद्र में छिपे ऊर्जा संसाधनों को खोजने का प्रयास किया जा रहा है। महानदी बेसिन में ONGC की पहली डीपवॉटर खोज में गैस मिलना इस दिशा में उत्साहजनक शुरुआत है। यह मिशन, भारत की ऊर्जा सुरक्षा को नई मजबूती देगा।
गोबरधन कचरे को ऊर्जा में बदलने का अवसर है। यह योजना ईंधन आयात घटाएगी, रोजगार पैदा करेगी और किसानों को ऊर्जादाता बनाएगी।
🔹 6. वैश्विक संकट में ऊर्जा आपूर्ति पर जोर
पश्चिम एशिया के संघर्ष और होर्मुज़ में व्यवधान के दौरान भारत ने 40 देशों से कच्चे तेल की आपूर्ति, रणनीतिक भंडार और ₹10 प्रति लीटर की उत्पाद शुल्क कटौती जैसे कदमों पर भरोसा किया। रिफाइनरियों ने पाँच दिनों में LPG उत्पादन 28% बढ़ाया, जबकि घरेलू LPG, पाइप्ड गैस और CNG की पूरी आपूर्ति सुनिश्चित की गई।
🔹 7. स्वदेशी तकनीक और नवाचार को बढ़ावा
भारतीय शोध संस्थानों, R&D केंद्रों, प्रयोगशालाओं, IITs और स्टार्टअप्स को ऊर्जा क्षेत्र की चुनौतियों के समाधान से जोड़ा जा रहा है। 29वाँ Energy Technology and Innovation Meet इसी सहयोग को आगे बढ़ाने का मंच है।
प्रधानमंत्री मोदी जी के ऊर्जा विजन का मूल उद्देश्य है......भारत की जरूरतों के लिए भारत की क्षमता बढ़ाना, किसानों को ऊर्जादाता बनने के नए अवसर देना, औद्योगिक विकास को गति देना और भविष्य की ऊर्जा चुनौतियों के लिए देश को तैयार करना।

On the first anniversary of the momentous Charan Suhava Yatra of the holy Jore Sahib, we reflect with gratitude and reverence on a 300-year-old legacy deeply intertwined with my family’s history.
For over three centuries, the holy Jore Sahib of Dasam Pita, Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj, the founder of the Khalsa Panth, and his revered wife, Mata Sahib Kaur Ji, remained in our family’s custody. It was a profound blessing for our family to have been entrusted with this sacred heritage across generations.
On behalf of my family, I was blessed to hand over the holy relics to the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee, which ensured that the Jore Sahib found a permanent home at Takht Sri Harmandir Ji, Patna Sahib, the sacred birthplace of Dasam Pita.
As my family took the decision to place these sacred relics in a permanent home, we drew inspiration from the vision and guidance of Prime Minister Modi Ji, who took a keen personal interest in ensuring that the Jore Sahib received befitting honour, dignity and reverence. A committee of eminent members of the Sikh Sangat was privileged to meet him and present its recommendations for the safekeeping and public darshan of the holy relics at the divine birthplace of Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj.
PM Sh @narendramodi Ji’s affection and respect for the Sikh community have found expression in numerous initiatives under his leadership, from the preservation and promotion of Sikh heritage to improved connectivity and accessibility to our sacred places of pilgrimage.
I also recall with deep gratitude his personal intervention in ensuring the safe passage of the sacred Swaroops of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji and the accompanying Sikh delegation from Kabul to Delhi in 2021. I was immensely blessed to perform seva of the holy Swaroops upon their arrival in Delhi.
As we mark one year of the historic Charan Suhava Yatra, my heart is filled with humility and gratitude. It is our prayer that the holy Jore Sahib continue to inspire faith, devotion and Chardi Kala in the Sangat for generations to come.

The Union Cabinet, chaired by PM Sh @narendramodi Ji, has approved the continuation of the targeted subsidy of ₹300 per 14.2 kg domestic LPG cylinder for beneficiaries of the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY) during FY 2026-27. The subsidy will be prorated for 5 kg cylinders, with a total expenditure of ₹12,001 crore.
Launched in May 2016, PMUY has provided deposit-free LPG connections to nearly 10.57 crore mothers and sisters from poor households till now across the country. The popularity of the scheme reflects in the fact that the beneficiaries have availed about 42 crore refills during 2025-26.
Despite the ongoing conflict in West Asia and the disruption to traditional energy routes, India has kept its LPG supply chain moving. Imports are being sourced from a wider range of suppliers, while efforts are underway to keep shipments moving safely despite disruptions around critical sea routes.
Domestic LPG production was also stepped up 28% within five days of the March 2026 directive to maximise refinery output. Longer-term supplies are being secured and stocks are being maintained to ensure that households continue to get LPG without disruption.
As a result of these measures India is able to provide LPG to the consumers at one of the cheapest prices in the world.
