Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Barr. Ezenwo Nyesom Wike has called on residents of the FCT to shun any planned protest in the nation’s capital.

As part of efforts to check insecurity in the Federal Capital Territory, the FCT Minister, Barrister Ezenwo Nyesom Wike has presented 50 operational vehicles equipped with communication gadgets to security agencies in the FCT.
Of the 50 operational vehicles, the Nigeria Police Force, FCT Command received 24 vehicles, the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, FCT Command and the Department of State Services, FCT Command got eight and five vehicles respectively.
The FCT Minister, Barrister Nyesom Wike was honored at the Nigerian Excellence Awards in Public Service (NEAPS) with the award of excellence in infrastructural delivery at the Federal level as the Hon. Minister of the FCT.
The event took place at the Presidential Villa banquet hall & was attended by the Vice President, Sen. Kashim Shettima.
The criteria for recognition include significantly improving public service delivery & courageously undertaking risks to drive positive change amongst others
