SASSA TAKES SERVICES CLOSER TO THE PEOPLE IN MOTHIBISTAD   SASSA in the Northern Cape today conducted a service delivery activation at the Thabo Moorosi Multi-Purpose Centre in Mothibistad, Kuruman, as part of its ongoing efforts to bring services closer to communities.   The activation provided an opportunity for community members to access assistance with social grant-related enquiries, Social Grants Reviews, COVID-19 SRD R370 grant enquiries and other SASSA services.   Through these outreach initiatives, SASSA remains committed to improving access to services, promoting awareness and ensuring that eligible beneficiaries receive the support they need. #SASSAOutreach #SASSACARES #SASSA20

SASSA KwaZulu-Natal conducting a service delivery activation at Peace Initiative Hall in Ixopo, where over 400 community members have gathered to access a wide range of essential government services. The activation formed part of SASSA’s ongoing commitment to bringing services closer to communities, improving accessibility and reducing the financial burden of travelling long distances to access government assistance. Services being rendered included: * Social grant reviews * E-Life Certification * Beneficiary Biometric Enrolment * COVID-19 Social Relief of Distress (SRD) grant enquiries * New social grant applications * Health screenings * A range of additional services provided by participating government departments The activation also provided an opportunity for beneficiary education, enabling community members to receive first-hand information on social grants, eligibility requirements and SASSA’s ongoing service delivery improvements. #SASSAOutreach #SASSACARES #SASSA20

Bringing services closer to the people, the SASSA Northern Cape region has extended access to essential services to the Wrenchville community in Kuruman. This milestone took place during the South African Police Service’s (SAPS) launch of the Provincial Safer Festive Season campaign, reinforcing our commitment to community development, safety, and accessible governance.  #SASSACARES #SASSA20

[HAPPENING NOW] SASSA Gauteng Service Delivery Activation Today, SASSA Gauteng is live at *Reiger Park Civic Centre, Germiston and Munsieville - Skulpot Hall, Ward 25, Krugersdorp*, bringing services closer to the community. Through these activations, SASSA engages beneficiaries, informs the community about its services and addresses enquiries on the spot. Services rendered on site includes Social Grant Applications, Social Grants Enquiries, SRD R370 Enquiries, E-Life Certification, and general SASSA information. We are joined by other Stakeholders including the Department of Social Development, Department of Home Affairs, Banking institutions and other Government Departments rendering various services on site. An approved grant application and a December payment to look forward to, Mr Maharaj has reason to smile! After receiving assistance with his Older Person’s Grant application, Mr Maharaj received his approval letter from Minister of Social Development Ms Dina Pule and SASSA CEO Mr Themba Matlou at today’s Ministerial ICROP in Chatsworth. His first payment is due in December 2026. “Thank you very much to SASSA,” he said. Support also extended to mobility, with walking sticks handed over to older persons who need help with balance, supporting safer movement and greater independence. For Mr Maharaj and fellow residents, today’s outreach brings practical support closer to home. #MinisterialOutreach #SASSACARES #SASSA20

Another important part of today’s programme is helping learners step into the classroom with confidence. A symbolic school uniform handover took place during the Ministerial ICROP in Chatsworth, forming part of SASSA’s support for 33 learners in Ward 71, valued at R178 800. Ten learners attended on behalf of the group to minimise disruption to their school day. This forms part of the Chatsworth Local Office’s school uniform assistance for 291 learners across seven schools, valued at R1 578 900, helping ease the financial pressure on families and supporting children’s education. #MinisterialOutreach #SASSACARES #SASSA20
