Hey @OpenAI how am I supposed to adopt a product like atlas and make it my daily driver if I can’t even trust you won’t shut it down?! This whole “consolidate everything into one app” thing is turning into a disaster. Fix the current issues with the gpt app and then let’s talk.

I'm so confused why the new chatgpt app doesn't have a prominent chat feature... its *chat*gpt isn't it? a little popup chat isn't really cutting it tbh

We’re breaking ground on Stargate Michigan—a 1GW data center utilizing closed-loop cooling that uses water at the rate of a typical office building, creates thousands of union jobs, and brings over $40m in free Codex credits for all college, community college, and trade school students statewide. openai.com/index/stargate-mi…

you won’t believe that Trump raped E Jean Carroll, even after she proved it in court… but you’ll believe an anonymous facebook account claiming they were paid to protest. Weird and irrational.

I’m going viral in Brazil right now... Apparently “talarico” is Brazilian slang for “wife-stealer.” 😂 Olá, Brazil! 🇧🇷 I’m just making good public policy here in Texas — I promise I won’t steal your girl.

We do not think Anthropic should be designated as a supply chain risk and we’ve made our position on this clear to the Department of War.

In other words they don’t want to government to use ai to spy on domestic citizens and to be used to make ai killer robots. I stand with Anthropic on this one.

Former ICE Employee: I swore an oath to protect the nation when I signed up. I followed it when I resigned a little over a week ago. I am duty bound to report the legally required training program at the ICE academy is deficient, defective, and broken. I received secretive orders to teach cadets to violate the Constitution

i switched from Claude Code to Codex after 6 months. it’s insane how different they are and how Claude Code’s fast speed is an ILLUSION: > codex is like the autistic genius. it gets shit done. it doesn’t talk much, often times it feels dry, but you’re not going on a date with it so it’s ok. > it’s incredibly smarter. practically one-shots everything. > codex takes waaay longer to finish a task but i’m 100% fine with it. i can spend that time working with another agent. > claude code needs too much baby sitting. what codex finishes in one go, CC does in 4 conversions. it’s much faster but i think it’s mostly an illusion of speed since it doesn’t really finish a task but comes back to you doing a sub-task of it. > codex takes more time, but is much more reliable. the time it spends on planning + coding is the time otherwise spent on debugging and redoing the implementation as in Claude Code. > the price for codex is insanely high. i don’t see many people seeing the ROI on spending ~$240 a month on codex. CC is cheaper. there’s definitely not as much difference in quality as there is in price. > for now i’m testing codex, so far i’m really enjoying it. > if you do try codex, make sure you use the $200 version for full experience. it actually is quite different.

I have to admit, @openai came out swinging after that code red. 5.3 codex turned a lot of people from exclusively using Claude to having codex in the mix or even the majority of their work flow.

We're committing to cover electricity price increases from our data centers. To ensure ratepayers aren’t picking up the tab, we'll pay 100% of grid upgrade costs, work to bring new power online, and invest in systems to reduce grid strain. Read more: anthropic.com/news/covering-…
