Every piece of news about the DCU fills me with dread and disappointment but every new thing I hear about The Batman Part II has me like

RIP Sir Patrick Stewart, he was originally the narrator for Nightmare Before Christmas but the makers decided to go in a different direction but Danny Elfman loved Stewart's narration so much that it was included on the soundtrack. Here's Stewart's closing narration:

Nobody complains about women liking cute things or cartoons for children, but if men like literally anything, it's "you're weird" or "grow up," and it's stuff like this that comes from both the left and right, like they both want to alienate young men. 🤔

And if your tweet takes off normally it just means tons of people are pissed at you lol

“You know what I’d really like?”
“Tell me.”
“A Batman comic.”
“We can do a Batman comic.”
“A real Batman comic, no big event villain, no fighting his sidekicks.”
“I’ll make you a very traditional Batman comic. Crime-fighting adventures, cool villains, saving the day.”

I get it’s his baby, but the DCU should’ve been a hard reboot starting with Superman. Why carry over DCEU leftovers? The Suicide Squad is great, but if you need to make a podcast to clarify what’s canon, you’ve already made your new universe more complicated than it needs to be🤷♂️

I'm pretty sure shooting in location in Nebraska would've been a billion times CHEAPER and been able to give greater constructs and effects. MONEY LAUNDRY!
Jesus Fuckin' Christ I love... seeing how it always ends in shit.
U actually like this guy @CDawgVA???

Matt Reeves is so selfish, how dare he deprive us of the worst Batman movie that is ever going to be made just so he can spend more time working on his Batman sequel that's actually going to be good
