29 October 2026 HSA, POHA and PMAS-AAUR collaborated in an Orientation & Advocacy Seminar on One Health at PMAS-AAUR, Rawalpindi, bringing together university leadership and multisectoral stakeholders to discuss AMR, food safety, workforce development and pandemic preparedness.

📅 20-10-26 HSA organized a scientific session on “Pandemic Preparedness Under One Health Approach in Pakistan” at the 16th International Public Health Conference 2026, bringing together experts to discuss multisectoral collaboration, integrated surveillance and health security.

15-09-2026 HSA, in collaboration with POHA, convened a consultative meeting at COMSTECH, Islamabad, to finalize the One Health Joint Action Plan for the ICT Model District, focusing on multisectoral collaboration, legislation and pandemic preparedness.

27/08/26 A Consultative Meeting on the “One Health Joint Action Plan (ICT) & Rapid Assessment of One Health Legislation” was held at Islamabad Club, bringing together key stakeholders to identify policy gaps and strengthen multisectoral One Health action in Pakistan. #onehealth

29/07/26 HSA and POHA, in collaboration with IPH Lahore, successfully concluded the two-day Consultative Workshop on “One Health Workforce Development for Managing Emerging Infectious Diseases,” reinforcing Pakistan’s commitment to One Health and pandemic preparedness. #onehealth

28/07/26 HSA, in collaboration with (POHA) and IPH Lahore, inaugrated a two-day Consultative Workshop on One Health Workforce Development for Managing Emerging Infectious Diseases to strengthen coordination, capacity building, and Pakistan preparedness for future health threats.

29-06-26 HSA, in collaboration with POHA conducted a two-day consultative workshop on OneHealth Joint Action Planning for ICT as a Model District at COMSTECH, Islamabad. The workshop brought together key stakeholders to strengthen multisectoral coordination and regulatory system

Pakistan takes a major step toward precision healthcare. At a highlevel consultation chaired by Federal Health Minister Syed Mustafa Kamal, national and international experts endorsed Pakistan’s proposed National Genomic Policy to advance prevention, screening& genomic research.

Attended the OIC-COMSTECH – WUACD (World University Association for Community Development) Academic Forum, during which Dr. Tariq Mahmood Ali delivered a keynote address focused on enhancing academic collaboration and community development through strategic global partnerships.
