Really not impressed by @OctopusEnergy export application process. About the most opaque, non-communicative process I've seen in years. Thus far, after sending my form into the ether I have had zero updates about it. Not even the promised initial e-mail to say "it's under way".
All that time spent back in the 90s agonising over Y2K. Turns out the lesson we learned was to let someone spring that mayhem on a whim.

My big web UX per peeve: failing to trim trailing whitespace automatically, and just complaining I entered something wrong. Seriously, trim has been a basic feature of most modern programming languages for decades. If you aren't doing this in your site, what's wrong with you?
