Which of your wallets, bridges, or governance keys would fail first if a quantum computer showed up tomorrow? Every exposed public key onchain is a future liability. A quantum computer could recover the private key behind it and forge authorizations.

A useful next step would be a benchmark table for onchain signature verification: signature size, verification gas, target chain and implementation assumptions. That would make the deployment trade-offs much easier for project researchers to compare.
