Exactly this. I'm literally putting 20-year-old PS2 and PS3 discs into a PS5 and playing them today.
Imagine if those games were digital-only and the servers had shut down years ago.
This is why physical games still matter and always will.
I hate people who dont understand the idea behind having a physical disc with the whole game and compare it with digital being more practical, yes it absolutely is but it has no correlation, digital can be revoked the disc cant, this is why i can still play games from 3 decades ago if i want to, once everything is digital and hard to dump then you will grab your balls and scratch them and see content you love being wiped off...
