Sleeping with a fan is dangerous but people do it. It harms your respiratory system. When sleeping with moving air directed at you, results in evaporating moisture from your mouth & nasal passages. The body reacts to this in a panic mode producing more mucus that obstructs your air passage and people wake up with a stuffy nose opr headache. Fans not only blow air but they act like a vacuum cleaner keeping dust and dead skin cells circulated shooting them directly into your sinuses. Further sleeping with a fan on can damage your eyes. Many people sleep with half closed eyes, or eyelids partially open. Constant airflow dries the cornea leaving you with red and irritated eyes. A/C is ok
