Had a great convo with a OUD patient. Me: “Hey, this street fentanyl is really dangerous and you’ve already had an OD. Do you have any interest in getting on Buprenorphine?” 1/

Nobody teaches you how much of medicine is uncertainty. You spend years memorizing the right answers. Then you become an attending and realize your job is making good decisions with incomplete information.

I don’t care about anyone other than myself.
“This is the first time in my adult life where there's been an issue that's come up that I feel like is going to directly impact me,” says Dave Lowe, a lifelong conservative Republican who lives near a proposed data center in Texas.

How was I supposed to know a CONman would CON me?
CNBC: Do you regret voting for RFK Jr? BILL CASSIDY: If you want to tell me that somebody didn't tell me the truth, and I should've seen in the future they were not gonna tell the truth, you can say, 'Bill you should've seen into the future'

Hey @DrOz, When you started practicing medicine in 1993, the RVU reimbursement rate was $31.60. @CMSgov is proposing that in 2027, it is $33.40. Adjusted for inflation (+132%), that’s a 54% cut… No wonder you quit practicing medicine. The financials don’t make sense. Can you tell @CMSGov…oh, wait a minute… 🤔🤨😒
We're proposing one of the biggest Medicare updates in years—strengthening primary care, expanding accountable care, and modernizing physician payments. The goal is simple: help clinicians spend less time on paperwork, more time with patients, and deliver better outcomes.

Medicine may be the only field where pay has decreased, while work has increased, over the last 20+ years

Reporter: Do you think Republicans can square their support for ending birthright citizenship with the USMNT whose top scorer is a birthright citizen? Norman: Those are two separate issues—sports and policy. PabloReports: Do you think the World Cup coach is taking an American job? He’s from Argentina. Norman: That’s a separate issue. It doesn’t matter where he’s from. PabloReports: What if he was a doctor? Or a construction worker? Norman: That’s two separate issues. PabloReports: What makes sports different? Norman: With sports, you gauge on wins and losses. A construction worker is not a specialized field like sports is.

I think this Congressman talking about committing a felony should get more attention…
Yesterday, I received an official mail ballot at my Washington apartment for a woman I’ve never heard of. I’ve rented this place since I got elected OVER A YEAR AGO. All anyone would need to do is fill it out, sign it, and send it back. Democrats are stealing elections every day. PASS THE SAVE AMERICA ACT!

Trump: “Normies can suck a fatty…” MAGA: Yeah!!!!!
Reporter: The cheapest price for the game you’re going to is $8,000. Everyday Americans can’t afford these sporting events. Trump: No, but they can watch it on television. It’s sort of semi-free to watch it on television. But that’s the way life goes…

🚨 REPORT: 82% of physicians are now employed by hospitals or corporate entities. Nearly two-thirds of practices are no longer physician-owned. This outcome should not surprise anyone. For more than a decade, Medicare payment cuts, mounting administrative burden, growing insurer oligopolies, and policies that disadvantage independent practices have made this outcome entirely predictable. If lawmakers want more competition, lower costs, and better access to care, preserving independent practice must be part of the conversation. No single reform will reverse decades of consolidation. But policymakers can start by fixing Medicare, fixing prior authorization, expanding physician-owned hospitals, and strengthening antitrust enforcement. Snake who sells snake oil catching snakes.
“Those are dangerous!” HHS Secretary RFK Jr. sharing a wild video of himself grabbing two black racer snakes off Dr. Mehmet Oz’s patio while his wife Cheryl Hines repeatedly warns him to stop. The snakes can be seen twisting around Kennedy’s hands and biting him multiple times while he tries to remove them from the property.

United Health Group (UHG) recently reported their Q1 2026 results, exceeding earnings expectations with $111.7 billion in revenue—a 2% year-over-year increase. They attribute their positive performance to “improved medical cost management.” Just so we are all clear - medical cost management is code for prior authorization, downcoding, care denials, etc. They take pride in denying care because it looks good on their earnings report.
