Good step forward by pardoning folks for possession of marijuana @POTUS, now legalize it.
OFP stands with the brave women of Iran and all it's people who have been standing up against an oppressive government to fight for their basic human rights. Today we stand in solidarity with the #GlobalProtestsForIran. βπ½

Today is not for celebration. It is a day where we again make the call to action to uplift and empower the oppressed in this country and abroad by our US of A government. Workers of the world must come together to fight the rulers' oppressive capitalist system that is killing us.

There have been some great strides made in bringing justice to workers in this country, from a minimum wage to the 40 work week. Yet, we still have a ways to go.
Let's celebrate today and keep the pressure on for living wages!
Happy Labor Day!
Mother nature fighting back against fossil fuel corporations, as Ida blocks output of roughly 1.65m crude oil barrels (91% of the Gulf of Mexico output) and 84.87% of natural gas production in the region.

Happy Women's Equality Day!
Although we celebrate today, we acknowledge the work we still have to do to achieve real equality for all women, especially for women of color.
We see you, appreciate you, love you, and are here for you just as you have always been here for us all.
We stand with the Afghan people and call on @POTUS
to immediately open the country's doors to them. The US must enact a prompt and humane evacuation and resettling program for refugees from #Afghanistan.
The US' mission/interest in Afghanistan were resources, oil, cutting loose ends, and geopolitical power. PERIOD. If anything, our country was the one terrorizing the Afghan people.
Who watches the US of A?
Who holds us accountable?
If no one else, then it must be us, the voters.
Pres. Biden: "Our mission in Afghanistan was never supposed to have been nation-building...our only vital national interest in Afghanistan remains today what it has always been: preventing a terrorist attack on American homeland." abcn.ws/2Xojo0W
San Francisco is a nice city, but it will never a chance to be the best until they vote @SpeakerPelosi out.

Important to pay attention to. The ongoing lack of transparency makes it easier for ICE to continue what they've always been doing.
ICE draws strong rebuke from judge for "thumbing their nose" at the court in our #FOIA lawsuit & demands that senior officials appear at next hearing.
Join next hearing: 3:00PM EST Wednesday (8/4/2021). Call in: (877) 848-7030, 321-8747.

House Democrats and Republicans finally accomplished a bipartisan goal.
Both parties chose to evict & destroy the livelihoods of 11.4 million vulnerable people by intentionally allowing the eviction moratorium to expire.
Now they are on vacation.

The national eviction moratorium has expired. Biden and Congress did nothing. This is an absolute catastrophe.
The House of Representatives quietly adjourned for 6 weeks as members refused to extend the eviction moratorium to keep people in their homes after July 31st.
OFP calls on Congress to return & vote to extend the eviction moratorium to save 11.4 million people from homelessness.
Today is also a perfectly good day to deliver #MedicareForAll.
Today, weβre celebrating 56 years of #Medicare! In 1965, Pres. Lyndon B. Johnson signed the Medicare bill into law and presented Pres. Harry S. Truman with the very first Medicare card. Now, more than 63 million people are covered by Medicare! #56Covered
