REMOVAL OF DIRECTORS: HOW TO DO IT NEATLY AND SMOOTHLY 1.
It is long settled that corporate decisions are made majorly across two levels: general meeting and board meeting. This means that some decisions are reserved by the law for the shareholders/members of the company to make
The ‘how’ is missing, Prof.
We are convinced that targeting a strategic appreciation of the exchange rate by reasonably strengthening it from ₦1,350/$ to ₦500/$ as part of our manifesto is a winning strategy
It offers a direct, multi-faceted approach to curbing inflation, reducing poverty, and lowering the cost of living
When paired with our core manifesto commitments—such as major infrastructure improvements in security, electricity, and the road network, alongside structural reforms to boost market competitiveness—we can reasonably project a dramatic drop in staple commodity prices:
• Sliced Bread (Loaf): ₦1,750 → ₦800
• Imported Rice (50kg bag): ₦55,000 → ₦27,500
• Yam (Medium tuber): ₦2,400 → ₦1,200
• Maize (50kg bag): ₦75,000 → ₦37,500
• Plantain (Bunch): ₦2,500 → ₦1,250
• Whole Chicken: ₦7,000 → ₦3,500
• Eggs (Dozen): ₦2,300 → ₦1,150
• Garri (Painter): ₦1,300 → ₦650
• Petrol (Per litre): ₦1,350/$1 → ₦500/$1
• Cement (50kg bag): ₦13,500/$10 → ₦2,000/$4
It clearly demonstrates our concrete plan to uplift the 140 million Nigerians currently experiencing multi-dimensional poverty
What kind of brain did the devil bless some of you with?
What kind of a useless tweet is this?

And @OriConsult1 we commenced our company law class for Unilag law students earlier this month.
It is another time to assist this set of students to achieve academic excellence.
A clip from the last class on Memorandum of Association as a constitutive document of a company.
He has not changed; your political views are what differ now, and that is okay.
If you start to see him from a different lens now, that is also fine.
But one thing is certain: he remains a finance guru and is worthy of emulation.
But if the defendant is not a company but holds itself out as one, then the defendant has done an unlawful act. Unless that is the consequence the defendant envisions, it may not provide much functional value to a defendant that pleads in the former.
“The Defendant represents and holds itself out as a company.”
“The Defendant is a company.”
If I were representing a Defendant in a matter and came across the first sentence in a pleading, I would not gloss over it or dismiss it as a mere drafting style. I would pay close attention to the subtle pointer to what could come.
The statement “The Defendant is a company” asserts or confirms the Defendant’s status as a company as a fact. By the rules of pleadings, such admission could be binding.
The statement “The Defendant represents and holds itself out as a company,” however, asserts something materially different: that the Defendant presents itself to the world as a company. It does not admit that the Defendant is, in law, a duly incorporated company.
That distinction matters because holding oneself out as a company is not the same as possessing the legal status of an incorporated company. The former concerns how an entity presents itself; the latter concerns its legal existence and status under the applicable law.
Consequently, the first formulation may be a deliberate choice to avoid admitting the Defendant’s incorporation or corporate personality, leaving room to contest whether it is a legal entity capable of suing or being sued in its own name at a point during the trial.
Of course, the wording alone does not conclusively establish that the drafter intends to challenge the Defendant’s corporate status. The surrounding pleadings, the reliefs sought, and the applicable procedural rules must also be considered.
Nevertheless, as counsel for the Defendant, I would not treat that distinction lightly. I would examine the pleading closely to determine whether the choice of words is deliberate and what legal issue the drafter may be seeking to preserve.
Again, the best approach is to presume that every opposing counsel you encounter is up to something, regardless of their age at the bar, countenance, or nature.
Which faculty of law taught you this?
Clearly cannot be Unilag.
He has no reason to delete that post, bro.
The post doesn’t mention anybody’s name, and the image isn’t even trademarked, so why should he delete it?
Jim Iyke cannot dare to sue him because he will lose and possibly pay damages. Defamation doesn’t work that way, bro.
Just two witnesses from the guy bringing the case in court who will say they cannot identify who is in the picture, and the case is won.
He didn’t mention anybody’s name. He posted an image, and people are the ones claiming it’s a certain person. He can still stand his ground and say that the person in the picture isn’t who they claim it is.
You just have to be smart enough in this space. Even X cannot pull that post down.
It depends on mood.
Pant, Zone 2 or Alagbon?
The person will choose one days after the threats.
