I don’t disagree that umps are too unfairly criticized today due to replays and tech we have now, Diaz, Hernandez & Buckner are statistically some of the worst umps in the last decade and all have attitude problems. Demote bad umps and you wouldn’t have as many problems
I’m not even upset that we lost (used to it by now) but I’m surprised that Sox fans care so much about this. I posted one criticism of their team’s reaction & I’ve never had so many homophobic comments on one of my posts. I understand tho that online fans are different that IRL

The Orioles’ offensive performance at Coors Field this week was the worst by any visiting team this season.
The Orioles scored only seven runs through 27 innings against the NL-worst Rockies before adding two more in extras.
The Rockies were giving up 6.3 runs per game at home — an average of 18.8 runs allowed across a three-game series. They had allowed 7+ runs in 31 of their 65 home games (47%).
But Baltimore’s bats mustered only nine total runs en route to a series loss — one that could’ve easily been a sweep if not for Colton Cowser’s heroics.
At the end of the day, you gotta score more than 3 runs in 9 innings against Colorado’s shitty pitching and in a hitter friendly ballpark. Gunnar again nowhere to be found on offense. Shouldn’t have to have gone to extras in the first place

Samuel Basallo isn’t sure why everybody on Orioles wore stirrup socks tonight, but he joined in when he saw everybody else doing it. He didn’t have the pants for it, and he isn’t sure where the ones he wore came from.
He was, however, wearing Kyle Bradish’s socks tonight.

If you told me at the beginning of the year that Christian Encarnacion-Strand would save the Orioles season, I would’ve responded “who the hell is Christian Encarnacion-Strand?”

Unironically this is one of my favorite things about baseball. The goofy wacky rules that make the sport so quirky are what makes it special imo. Runner didn’t tag up but the defense never appealed, therefore the run scores. Never change, baseball.
