I want to go on the record defending Pierre Sage. We took the lead and looked good value for it, until our players switched off and gave them a free goal.
A pitiful red card changed everything - again, not the manager's fault.

Disasi let the team down today. But it's not, for me, a wider symptom. The gaps between defence and midfield looked far less problematic.

Crystal Palace’s wingbacks have become major attacking outlets early into the season.
Pierre Sage has clearly given them license to attack & results are showing.
This isn’t a problem, but it does require balance elsewhere to make sustainable.
