#WorldDiabetesDay this little guy was diagnosed with Diabetes at the start of Oct. Thankfully I’m neurotic & caught it despite the slightest of symptoms, we got him on insulin before he became poorly with it. Recently changed insulin & have a way to go with managing levels.

Urgent RSPCA Appeal ‼️ | #Nantwich, #Cheshire: concern for new-born puppies after emaciated lactating mastiff is found dead on school playing field.
The RSPCA has launched an appeal for information after the emaciated mastiff was discovered at #Malbank School in Nantwich on Tuesday 19 November.
The dog had been lactating which has sparked concerns that newborn puppies - without a mother - could now be in danger.
RSPCA Inspector Caren Goodman-James said: "The poor dog was found by a man near a footpath and stile on the playing field of Malbank School in Nantwich.
"He was concerned that children might see it, so reported it to the school immediately.
"This discovery would have been distressing enough, but when a vet examined the dog at RSPCA Stapeley Grange animal centre, she was found to have been lactating, which means she recently gave birth.
"She was a grey-coloured female mastiff-type dog, who was extremely emaciated with very long nails, which suggests she may have been neglected for some time.
"We fear she may also have been ‘over-bred’ and used as a puppy-producing machine for profit - but are keen to find out more."
The RSPCA has urged anyone with information to contact them immediately.
Caren added: “As well as finding out what happened to her, we’re very concerned that there may be young puppies somewhere out there that now don’t have a mother to care for them and we’d like to find them urgently.
"If anyone has any first-hand knowledge about this dog or her owner, or the puppies, please contact us via the RSPCA’s appeals line on 0300 123 8018.

Being a dog Mama this time of year is hard; both my girls are terrified even with Sileo Gel, multiple Alexa’s playing music & thunderstorm sounds (we sleep to that). They’re in a den, were walked for an hour this afternoon, fed before dark, but they still suffer 10th day in a row

How it’s going VS how it started😫 Daisy woke with limp Tues. Suspected interdigital cyst (she’s had 2 before). Metacam from vet, antibiotic jab Fri for cyst on back paw. Over night it ballooned. Vet suspected a grass seed-sedated for them to look. Only pus, bk on sat 2 check it.
Getting used to being a 4 piece and not a team of 5 has been really hard. We miss Barley terribly, he was the sweetest soul; but I’m so proud of these 3. They give me a reason to get out of bed every morning & bring me such a lot of joy. #RescueDogs
It’s 3 weeks today since I took Barley to the vet, never expecting 27 hours later he’d be gone, at just 9 years old💔it’s very strange & sad getting used to not having him here, but yesterday I had earrings delivered that were created with his ashes to represent his heterochromia
The first ever photo of all my babies together; my little garden of love! Nettles🌿🩷 Barley🌾💙 Clover☘️💚 Daisy🌼💛 my hands were full, as was my heart. Now there’s a Barley shaped hole in my heart that nobody else can fill. But they were the best 2188 days with all my pack 🐾
6 years ago today we met and adopted Barley; I should be setting up the “Happy 6th Gotcha Day” shadow box to take his photos, but instead I’m waiting for a call to go an collect his ashes and bring him home to rest💔for an 8kg Chorkie he made a big impact & we adored loving him!
He celebrated 5 Gotcha Days with us, but died just 4 days short of the 6th. We were in no way prepared to lose him; I was going to the vet to cuddle him & tell him he’d be home later that day or the next. Instead he declined & the next time I saw him his heart had already stopped
We had the most wonderfully festive day yesterday! Videos to follow; Mama & Grandad took us to @reindeerlodge where we got to meet elves, Mrs Clause, real reindeer AND Father Christmas who gave each of us a fluffy reindeer! It was so magical, a drive thru lighted trail&a walk 🎅🏻
Nettles was keen to find out the @bbcstrictly results tonight 👀 and lovely cuddles with Clover 💚
Full haircuts for the Shih tzus today! They really struggle with the central heating on, so although it pains me to trim them during the winter Clover gets so overheated he starts to rip his fur out with his teeth, so comfort is the priority. They have coats & jumpers if cold.
It’s such a shame Barley finds haircuts so distressing 😂🙈 he just had a tidy up so he doesn’t get overly wet & mucky on walks. #rescuedog
